- With three seconds left and a tie score, the New England Patriots ran the ball against the Las Vegas Raiders, basically conceding overtime. After a 23-yard gain, running back Rhamondre Stevenson turned and pitched the ball to Jakobi Meyers who then made a long lateral back towards Mac Jones but did not see Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones who took the ball to the endzone with no time remaining for a Las Vegas win. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to the wild ending.

In theory Mac could have thrown a pass down field but Chandler had missed the tackle and was too lazy to follow the play and would up in position to catch this ball. Even if Mac had been able to stop Chandler from catching this ball it would have still been a loose ball for the Raiders to pick up and run in with no Patriots around. It was vintage Keystone Cops.

As a life long raiders fan this game made my Sunday. Not only did we finally get a break/gift from the refs on that TD, but for once we didn’t make the dumbest play in the game. 😂

The year the Miami miracle happened (2018-2019) was the year the Patriots won their last Super Bowl. They lost home field, but beat the Chiefs in Kansas City in the AFCCG. The year the Broncos won their last Super Bowl was 2015-2016.

My disbelief with that ending is probably on the level that Mac had when the ball was thrown like 30 yards back to with the expectation to do something. I mean the stiff arm is funny but Mac was absolutely left for dead.

calling anything other than a knee there is on the coach. It wasn't going for to win, it wasn't trying for long FG that got run back. It was calling a draw run play with the instruction of run a few yards and go down. There was 0 chance of anything fruitful happening with that call

1:00 The dolphins game happened in 2018. And that loss lost them the 1 seed and gave it to the Chiefs. However, it was a blessing in disguise because we still won the super bowl and the win in arrowhead against the Chiefs was arguably the most satisfying win I’ve witnessed
Not even just that but the Pats got to play the Chargers in the Divisional Round due to the seeding and the Pats beat the brakes off of them.

I think the last play is a microcosm of the patriots season. Insane incompetence (mostly from coaching) and they clearly have a limited QB. The fact they even had to run the ball in the first place because he can’t get it to the end zone from 50 yards away is a problem.

I don't fully agree with taking a knee, because with a run play you still have a small chance of breaking through and taking the win, so that's worth trying even if you know it's unlikely. And with the run play there should be next to no chance of losing the ball. Just don't throw the ball at any time!!

The part of the field or end zone where the green changes to white is out of bounds. The front of his foot was clearly on the white. This was the trigger I needed to say enough is enough. No way could they not overturn the TD call, yet they didn't. WTF? The boneheaded play should never even have been on the table.
