    It should be noted the first mention of Joeseph being the one who came to England with the grail is from the 1300's.
    200 years after King Arthur and his quest for the Holy Grail was written. It may very well be that the tale of King Arthur, was adopted into the Christian lore of the area after a while.

    • @warrensmith8161

      It's actually allegory and a "grail" represents the key to deciphering the allegory. According to Plato's Cratylus there is a "correctness" to names and names can be "disguised" by altering the spelling or using different words with the same meanings. Cratylus has been dismissed by the "experts" as a "satire" on word etymology but by some odd "coincidence" the etymology of the word "grail" often includes the Latin word "cratalis". If the ideas presented in Cratylus are true, then there should be no doubt that Cratylus is a grail.
      The story of King Arthur was taken from British legends but it was turned into allegory about other subjects from another time period by changing names of people and places. For example, according to the Historia Brittonum, King Arthur personally killed 960 men at the Battle of Badon but this number serves as an allusion to the 960 Jewish insurgents that supposedly committed suicide at Masada around 73 CE. The Jewish Historian Josephus was the only one that recorded this event (at Masada) and this is part of the reason why he is linked to The Grail in the guise of Joseph of Arimathea since it is impossible to decipher Grail allegory without access to Josephus' writings. (The "tomb" only looks empty.)

      More likely to truth in Arthurian stories than the bible. Either way there’s a wonderful feeling of peace both up on the Tor and the grounds of the abbey. The abbey is the the most peaceful place I’ve ever visited, instant calm.

    I don´t know why people are looking for the Holy Grail in a place where is known that it isn´t there.
    The Holy Grail is just on the place where everybody told (Wagner, Troyes...) "The North of the Gothic Spain"
    In it is just like the tales told : a golden cup covered with jewells
    And was owned by the person that the tales told : an unmarried princess.
    The Holy Grail is the Chalice of Princess Urraca ( an onyx bowl of I Century BC, in The basilique of San Isidoro in León, covered with gold and jewells, and owned by Princess Urraca of Leon, who never got married)

    • @rowan7149

      Why would Christs cup be a golden chalice? He was a poor carpenter, he wouldn’t have gold and jewels?

    • @bwanaminoplis2536
      @bwanaminoplis2536 Год назад

      @@rowan7149Actually, the chalice is a humble onyx bowl. It is dated I Century B.C. The gold and jewwels were added by princess Urraca about year 1.070.
      Princess Urraca ordered to paint a big painting of the Last Supper just in the place where she was buried. In this painting , you can see a man withe the onyx Cup, offering it to Jesus.

      @@bwanaminoplis2536 I don’t think anyone can really verify any of the Christs chalice claims, there are so many with so many real claims. Many Popes have claimed and used the chalice that lies in Valencia Cathedral as the real one. In truth, we will never know if the cup really does still exist or even if one was used.

    • @bwanaminoplis2536
      @bwanaminoplis2536 Год назад

      @@rowan7149 Valencia is the other big chalice . It is formed by a bowl of agathe , of I Century B.C. too. It´s a very special chalice, indeed, but it has a problem :
      The legend says that the chalice was sent to Roma wen St Peter went there. Later, the chalice was set to the Pirinees Mounts about IV Century.
      But many pilgrims wrote that they saw the ¨Chalice of Jesus "in Jerusalem during the Centuries V, Vi , VII... So if the real chalice was at Jerusalem, it´s imposible that the same chalice was at Pirinees at the same time.
      I think it´s the Chalice of St Peter, nor the Chalice of Christ.
      Remeber: the Holy grail is " a golden cup, owned by an unmarried princess, and it´s at the North of the Gothic Spain "
      this chalice achieves all this requirements.:

We were looking for a Holy Grail but I suppose things took a turn and they wanted us to be search for Atlantis under the waves lmfao. Glastonbury is not "a sleepy village" and there are no cobblestones anywhere.
    The Isle of Avalon is not just the Tor, it's also the three other hills nearby on a raised area, an island rising from the flat land around. This is typical American rubbish, which has little knowledge of British history. Its faults are too numerous to mention, but one thing stands out: there is no evidence at all of anything suggesting pagan worship before Christianity, in this area, and it furthers the myth that Christianity suppressed pagan worship, rather than absorbed it. Christianity was the driving force here since very early times.
