- New strategy in the midgame made me come back to this map for a better time. It's not exactly the game I wanted but I'm extremely happy with it. Run after run after run has died to invisible wisps and round 12 dogs and finally I got a time. Even the invisible wisp in this run couldn't stop me. This run had the fastest ever boss fight by a long shot, it was literally perfect and it truly saved the run!
I don't think I'll run DE solo again... I'm finally free...

For those wondering, the new strat consists of me TPing from the rocket test for the first back in time sequence rather than the undercroft and then (hopefully) shooting a wisp or even 2 before I jump over to the rocket test to put in the code for the safe and also get the ragnorok part at the same time. I think this is around 20s quicker than the old strat although working out an exact timesave is difficult. Ask any questions below :)

Teamspeak is often used in LAN environments because it doesnt have to go through external connections, the server can be hosted on the same machine that the game server runs on. It's standard for csgo too. 😊

QUESTION: How come the menu shows you have a bunch of classic gobblegums, but you're clearly using mega gums? What am I missing?

When you shot the globe it was not electrified, how did you get it to tell you if that was not the place where you should shoot...? Suspicious and I would like to know your answer
It’s invisible, visual glitch and I just have to guess where it is, if I get it wrong I have to reset, you can clearly see my heart sink when I see it’s invisible since it’s been a common glitch killing my runs recently but luckily I got it right

@@TenzKaos No worries bro, just to expand on it, I knew the wisp was at globe or radio since it’s a 50/50 between the 2 spots, I go over it in my tutorial if you wanna learn more about how wisps work
Are you really running DE if you don’t get at least one invisible wisp? At this point, it’s the true sign of a WR.

id like an explanation cuz like this looks very weird and id like to know why this is if u know xD
it’s invisible, because of how the wisps work we know they can only be in 1 of 2 places and sometimes, i’d say fairly uncommonly the wisp can be invisible, this glitch can kill a LOT of runs since we just have to guess and pray we guess right

EDIT: It is allowed.
The only mods that are allowed are ones that give you unlimited gums and some camo mods, my gum pack will show classics but will always give me the set of gums that i’ll run for any map i load, you can find it it my discord if you want

Just beat the easter egg solo using only classic gums for the first time. My perks were quick revive, jug, double tap and stamin-up. And for the boss I used lightning bow and pack a punched xm-53. Quick revive is pretty useless for the boss as in my experience you are basically fucked without jug in there. But it helps with calm your nerves while dosing the easter egg steps before the boss I suppose.
How did he know where the wisps would spawn??
They're not completely random, they have a pattern

What keeps you motivated to run these maps countless time besides from aiming to the best in the world on the map, which is obviously the biggest goal of all. I’ve done DE solo and Zetsubou solo but struggle to find motivation to consistently jump on the maps and grind for the EE or even high rounds
I mean I find it fun so being motivated to be the best is pretty easy for me, I have specific goals on maps that I want to reach and I’ve hit my goal for DE now

Your Sum of Best is a sub 25, but do you think you could pull that off RTA? I always like to know what you guys think is feasibly possible versus what the limits of rng determine is possible.
Yeah so ATM my SOB is a 24 which isn't really realistic at the moment. A lot of the timesave on my run here is all the spawn RNG at the start of the run, I've been nearly 40s faster at my second split alone and you can go even faster given perfect spawns but the chances of it happening are extremely slim. I think a sub 26 will happen soon, the time is slowly edging its way down and with the new strat its definitely feasible. For the time being I dont think we'll see anything faster than a 25:40

Can you explain how you were able to do the wisp step after going down to the rocket pad and doing the test around the 12:00 mark? I was under the impression that the wisps despawn and you have to do it again next round but you seemed to just shoot the globe at 12:32 without it being there visually. It would be nice to know since a friend and I have been trying to do the EE but sometimes cant get to the wisps fast enough and they dissapear.
If you don’t shoot a wisp for 1 minute and 50s then it will timeout and fail, you have a lot of time to hit it so you can do a lot i between
