Honestly, the game looks complicated with an moderately uphill learning curve for new players. TBH this is how BG felt before I looked up builds, leveling strategies, and hero power/gold efficiencies, etc. I think players will enjoy the complexity long term though, because current BG seems like there’s a few builds that win.

Wait who the hell ever said Pyg was bad? Property build is absolutely busted on him and super easy to make. I just got done with a game where I had a 46k dmg Skyscaper with lifesteal and multihit 2 (1.5sec cd) and a 107k shield Spacescraper on a 2.5sec cd. If anything, he needs to be nerfed lol
Recently had a Pyg run where spacescraper gave me 100k shield in 1.6 seconds, then spiky shield multihit for my shield total. Needless to say I got 10 wins. Definitely my favorite playable character!

i want to note that iv been following your channal for over 7 years, and this is the first time i comment, this is how much am intrested in playing the game
my first game in ranked i tried pyg and was getting stomped trying to establish a solid build. 1 win and 1 loss away from having no more prestige i started getting some properties. stained glass window is incredible when paired with skyscraper and other properties. had a property that when plat gave me shield for quadruple its value and a slot machine that gave me shield for quadruple(i think) my income. and because stained glass window doubles or triples(depending on rarity) the values of your property, my skyscraper was literally 1 shotting every build i faced. it was on a cooldown for 3ish seconds so 3 seconds into any match i would instantly win. it was, completely broken lol. and because i enchanted it with indestructible, can’t be frozen or slowed my enemies couldn’t interact with it. absolutely bonkers
I think the game is very fun but Location Pyg is just unbeatable if you aren't playing freeze, and even then you have to get lucky enough to consistently freeze the same building.
I got an infant shield build with pyg, property/value/haste that got insane shield and the shield item that does damage equal to shields. Used several of the cards Kripp dismissed as bad. Just goes to show the character had several insane builds.
I feel like you should be able to go infinite, or until your build is 1st. Then other people who go infinite will play until they either kill you or lose.
I managed to make a 38k HP Pyg with the double hitting hammer and 2k healing tree, the belt and the Rottweiler dogo... The hammer was swinging for 7500 double-hit and had deadly enchant and was getting more crit from a passive. So it was about a 10 second timer to either do 38K damage to me (quite more with the tree healing), or get bonked for about 30k
I'm loving the Bazaar vids. But can you hover on the items for a sec so the viewers can read the text? Don't need much, just make it easier to pause and read.

had a diamond gumball machine on my skyscraper build with the item that increases value of my items and the property that does the same every hour I got a diamond gumball which gave +4 stat and sold for 4 gold, just printed money, struggled to get under 100 gold also my diamond skyscraper was on a 3.2 cooldown with about 20,000 in combat damage, multicast, deadly which was 80% crit at the time, and lifesteal I one shot everything in the game almost got perma froze by one build, but it turned out there was a brief period between the freeze where I could charge, so after about 30 seconds it fired anyways. also had like 10,000 health because of another property. Diamond Balcony and diamond stained glass window, sadly my health property only got to gold before I ran out of fights. ended at level 15, I feel sorry for anyone who has to go against that build, it came online on like day 6 and I won at day 14 I think
"pyg is bad" say that again after being bashed in the head by a damn 100 floor building that does 36k dmg with a 5 second cooldown. those are the only bosses you face in day 12 and onward
I don't think its possible by design, its asynchronous matchmaking, meaning that the player that you play against will never see the match himself its just a ghost of the build that he used some time ago. If they want to be able to pull off matches vs friends they need to invent a new game mode.
Yeah actually that would be a cool thing. Some kind of ghost system similar to pawns from dragons dogma. Mby each player can have 3 permanent ghosts for this week that friends can choose to battle instead of regular ghost. Or co-op where you play together with friend and you guys battle after end of each day.
I'm surprised you sold the balcony. Balcony doubles the value of properties even outside of combat. So when you have a balcony you can buy and sell properties for free

EDIT: Yeah Kripp just completely nerfed the power of his build by not seeing this interaction. Every single property he would have bought would essentially be free and he'd have double the strength at least

Got 10 wins on my first run, just buying weapons and crit with the cheapest founder pack character. Probably easy mode while everyone is messing around with crazy builds.
Not only does he play too fast for uninitiated* viewers to keep up (*who BTW are the target demographic), but he also plays too fast for himself to know what he's doing. It's uninformative, unaccomplished and uninspiring. He's just going through the motions. Kripp hasn't put any real effort into what he's doing for over a decade. Reynad could have found a better hype partner.

Ive lost twice to this build yday. It isnt that rare. The beast was even enchanted with lifesteal. 11k lifesteal damage is a hoot

That is already happening with zaar, pyg skyscraper and dam/shipwreck are win conditions you can more or less force and theyre super broken OP

first 3 rounds are against easy bots to ease you into it - it gets harder once you match up against other people

Had a 25k Shield PYG build that could heal for 20k, thought I was a god, GL with my ghost people.
I made a very similar build to this and just 1 shot everything, was super “balanced”…. Yeah.
