I met 1 of the inmates from Devil's Island, he was in his 70/80s, in Guyana. He mentioned that the prison guards were really horrible people, basically they were prisoners themselves Awesome that you were able to pay respect Be safe

Would highly recommend a visit! Yes, French Guiana and the other former colonies next door are certainly not cheap! 😳
