- I take you shopping for vintage at our favorite flea market in Daytona Beach, FL. We are shopping here again can't stay away because they always have something we want. The Fenton Brothers and Francis Shop are my two favorite spots, and lately I am finding more vendors around with great deals to be had. If you are ever in the Daytona Beach, FL area, make sure you stop out at Daytona Beach Flea and Farmers Market. They have plants, outdoor decor as well as clothes, phone accessories, you name it! Produce that is wonderful and also a decent food selection to hold you over while shopping. We go for the vintage and antiques. Mostly vintage however some shops do carry antiques as well. There is an ATM on sight and the vendors are super friendly and eager to sell. Wow, I love to see all the colorful glass! My mother had the same Amber glass canisters! There are plenty of gorgeous vases! I could go broke there!😂❤

Oh my. I really need to go on a field trip and visit this place. I have the Moon and Stars gold canister set that you showed in the beginning of the video. We received them as a wedding gift in 1972. I just got them out of storage and am going to put them in the kitchen again. So many beautiful pieces. I love the cranberry glass too. Thanks for taking us along.

Jeff,The flea markets are my favorite. love all the beautiful Cranberry Fenton. I have collected Fenton for years. I really loved Cranberry pitcher and all the matching glasses. Would have purchased in a heart beat for me.Great show and loved seeing so many beautiful crystal and glass. Enjoy your week take care.

Stop and drop what I'm doing when this comes on. I had that amber canister set in GREEN. Wish I had it today!😢 I do shows with my canvas paintings and it's a lot of work. I CAN'T IMAGINE PACKING UP ALL THAT GLASS to sell!! I can't get ENOUGH GLASS! I love it all and especially enjoy your knowledge of each one! This was GREAT! THANKS! ❤

Hi Jeff....good to see your son enjoys flea shopping with you! I have the blue 60's glass pitcher....just need the glasses yet. Oh I found something I like...at 9:12... oh my those white doves to the left of the big amber/ goldish mirrored vase....they are gorgeous...I believe they want to fly up tp Pennsylvania, lol. I love seeing all the things your camera is drawn to. My Grama had an antique glass pitcher and waterglass set in it's original storage/display basket. The glassware had beautiful handpainted flowers on them. It would now be at least almost 110 years old. She promised it would be mine when she passed and I spent my entire childhood looking at my basket of glassware with anticipation. My dad kept it after she passed and I was supposed to inherit it from him. After he passed, my sister, unbeknownst to me, had plans for my mom and her money. At some point I became cut off from them, for necessary self preservation, mainly. One day at my newspaper office job, I was proofreading an auction list and had to check it on their online site. I told my co-worker, hey look at this antique pitcher and glass set..it's exactly like mine I am to get from my grama. I have never ever seen another like this my whole life. Wow isn't tbat amazing!! Yep, it sure was...imagine my horror a few weeks later when my mom told me she sold it thru an auctioneer. It was the one I saw online at my work! I was sick, it's been 10 years now and it still makes me sick. I dont know what she was thinking and pretty sure my sister knew. Sorry to unload such a long sad story on you, but when you go to flea markets, I always keep an eyeball peeled for my set lol. But don't you worry, I have more than made up for missing it here, I replaced it with waaaay too many other pieces. Lol....and no plans on stopping ...yet. Can't wait to see what little items hopped aboard your tote bag to go home with you! 😂❤

There are snap top bins all under their tables and everything is lowered and tied together ...rare that a hurricane would hit where the shows are inland ! 🚂🎬💕🎥

@MyTakeOnHomeGarden My son has been in the hospital since last week. I am practically living at the hospital and on the road back and forth every day. No crafting. Hopefully, he will be home soon and then back to crafting for me.

Tammy has been not good she's booked into hospital and going to radiologist for injections and MRIs ,Bone scans , Cat scans she's in a lot of pain not walking very far . I worried so much . She's a fighter but this is to much for her . Thought you would like to know we have been watching wouldn't miss you both . Down here in Texas we have the famous Round Top Antiques Fair about 45 minutes away. It happens bi- annually and is about seven towns long with thousands of booths, buildings, and tents in every cow pasture! It is a remote sparsely populated country area that just comes alive with big rigs of goodies coming from states away and shoppers flying in from far away. I have arrived early and speed walked the whole day and not made it from the first town. My treasures have been from little amateur venders who had no clue. My very favorite is an oil painting for $5 which was a hand painted reproduction of Fredrick Morgan’s Sea Horses. I found the Mexican hojalata tin frame in pieces for $3 and restored it. The frame is 30” x 34”.
