    Since this is like a specialist town known for its book shops, how do the prices (on second hand/ collectors books) compare to elsewhere?

      thank you! prices for second-hand books are really reasonable. Since there are so many stores in the area they need to be competitive so don't increase prices, since you'd just go elsewhere to purchase. Very cool to visit the specialist bookstores in the area and prices are the same as the RRP on the back (Murder & Mayhem, Gay on Wye etc.).

    Hey, this is on my bucket list to visit...just wondering are there any hotels, restaurants cafes also in Hay?

      hey! I think there are guest houses/airbnbs in the area more-so than hotels. But there are definitely cafes and restaurants - we ate in The Cosy Cafe for breakfast/lunch which was lovely! x
