Picking the right professors is also a good idea. Taking the time to research your professor before hand can help with getting good grades. Personally, I would say that you don't want a professor that is too difficult or too easy, you want a good balance between learning and being challenged. I had 1 professor that was too easy, the work wasn't challenging in any sense, but I've also had a professor that brought down my GPA from his extremely harsh grading metric and overzealous assignments. His 3 unit class should really have been a 5 unit from the amount of work that we did, more than half the students dropped the class, which was the 1st red flag. I went from an A to a C- grade by the middle of the semester and whenever I felt I was struggling I would attempt to speak to him to see what I could work on that would improve my understanding of the course. He wasn't rude or pompous in any means, he just seemed to struggle with simplifying these intricate systems of the material he was teaching. I respected his intelligence and academic achievements, but disapproved with his teaching methods. "I'm not on your level, sir. Please dumb down the material for me. 😂🙄"

One thing I think worth mentioning is the gradin g scale for your classes. I’ve gone through my sophomores year in college thinking I got an A on all my courses but eventually you’ll need a >95 or higher to score a 4.0 gpa overall
Ciel INV yes it definitely plays a role! My grading scales were definitely different for each class and each school I’ve attended. For example, an A or 4.0 in my pathophysiology class was a 97% and an A for my food microbiology class was a 76%. Major differences haha

can i improve my cgpa just in one semester? im currently doing my foundation for life science and it only got 2 semesters. i just finished the first semester and i think i did pretty bad especially in physics subject.
The fact that everyone wants a 4.0 underlies the problems people have finding work. I think there is a difference between A- and A+. If this factored in there would be less students at the top.
I have a question...I have a 2.6gpa rn as a junior in high school. I got A and B the first semester and the second one o got all A one B and one C how much do you think my gpa will go up if I got all A for the next 2 marking period
In most schools they do GPA by your overall semester grades so if you got good grades overall in the 2 semesters I had a 2.0 my freshman year and with mostly C’s my last semester and A’s and B’s these last semesters I’m a sophomore now and was able to raise it to a 2.9 unweighted and 3.19 weighted
I'm in my final semester of my BS and I am not a straight "A" student. I'm basically a "C" average student. I was at a 2.91 until I moved to another State and that school did not accept all my credits so I went down to a 2.5. I was on academic probation and managed to bring it up to get out of that probation. Meanwhile, I've been just sort of trying to pass my classes just to finish school but doing so my GPA was not going up as fast as I wanted it to. Now, I'm in my final semester with only 2 classes left and my GPA is about 2.7. It's too late for me to bring it up. So, I really want to do to PA school I would have to work on my GRE to even be looked at. Are there ways for me to take classes after my BS to bring my GPA up?
it's possible to reach 2.7 ? because my gpa is 1.63 right now and i have 6 subjects , i was sick so in 5 subject i repeat i didn't do the final exam so what do you think and what is your advice to me .. thank u
hello Anna! i just found your channel bc i calculated my gpa for the semester and felt very discouraged. i’m also pursing the PA track!! do you have any advice to boost my application in other aspects aside from gpa?? should i get a phlebotomy/MA certification over the summer? what else should i do?
It's not really a huge leap to go from a B average to an A average. To from a C average to an A average is a huge leap. All you had to do was be a little more disciplined and that A average came easier for you. You did well by stopping being undisciplined.
Today, we live in an environment where we are surrounded by various electronic gadgets like televisions, computers, and mobile phones and we are so used to them, we can’t get away from them. Sometimes we waste too much of our time unnecessarily and we can’t even figure out where our time is going. Parents also get concerned about what their children are doing on their phones, whether they are using their time wisely or not. For students, it may seem difficult to track where they are investing their time or what they are doing on their phones. If you are facing any of these problems, then you are in the right place . they did a great job for me

Not really. Look at the forum SDN.
Many successful doctors have come from community college. As long as you score high on MCAT
My Dad went to Michigan State and my brother really wanted to go.... Go SPARTANS
@@jadynolivia9298 THANK YOOUUU SOOOO MUCH

I am a junior with a .97 GPA. I suddenly want to go to college. Any recommendations to get it up????
Use the tips she made and use active recall. If you get a 4.0 for the semester your in you're looking at a 3.25

If you are facing any of these problems, then you are in the right place . they did a great job for me
I graduated from high school 4.0 gpa and my gpa in university is 1.1

To a 4.0, Really? It is definitely not possible to pull up like that. Trust me, i tried to get to 4.0 and I still ended up with a 3.999999999999999999999999*Bar - continuing.
If you have a 3.0 Gpa and up you’ll be fineee
