Those things at the ends are called passive radiators. Tribit made some curious design decisions with the Stormbox Blast. Like the mesh at the back of the enclosure - why? There are no drivers to protect back there. And the no USB-C charging. And the eating up of so much possible box volume by mounting the woofers so far back in the enclosure. And the pod-mounted tweeters - something that might be what's causing the big notch in the response around 5kHz that you can hear when you compare the Blast to other BT speakers that don't have this issue. And the ceramic-magnet rather than neo-magnet woofers (one of the reasons why the Motion Boom + is so much lighter). But the bass output of the Blast seems to be really decent for its size, based on the other videos I've seen that feature it.

This thing has been getting a lot of attention and praise amongst Bluetooth speaker enthusiasts. I guess it's super heavy, and can be a little clunky when trying to pair in stereo, but is tuned better than the motion boom plus according to a lot of people.
Yes this one is the best yet I've tested and there is a mini comparison to the Motion Boom Plus in this video around 07:00. This StormBox Blast is better but yes the trade off is it's size, weight and no shoulder trap.

Sounds muffled compared to your voice. ( which you said also ) But you altered the highs, or was this out of the box sound?
Out of the box tune, but you have to remember the lav mic i used is tuned for voice not this. It was only to give people an idea.

How do you think this will fare at a poolside or beach? Can you hear it over the people or waves splashing?
Yes you can it's loud enough for that.

Hey i just received mine today sounds great. However, after charging for about 100 as per app, the battery level went down to 94 then 91 to 89 n then again 87 to 91 within ten minutes of playing at lower volume let say 30 percent and with lights off. So tell me is this normal or mine is an exceptional case.
It's normally after a few battery cycles it's much better.

It's 90w 2×30w for the woofers and 2×15 for the tweeters if you're talking about the motion boom plus it's 80w
