Finally someone else who completes the full run. Just killing the first lone shadow gets boring really quickly. This way is much more entertaining. Also you can use divine abduction to turn that one red guard around and backstab him. On new game plus playthroughs you can also leave that orgre in the room alive. He'll kill both of them every time.
if u dont kill the ogre u can kill the first lone shafow, then jump down in the middle, and while the ogre is killing the two red guards, u can kill the other in the back, to improve your xp/min
im on ng+4 for the return ending and i was struggling so hard for the trophy that requires all skils, I was using the ashina outskirts stairway but they only gave around 1700xp and it took A LOT to farm all levels, thank you so much for this video bro, you made things much easier for me
I've been using outskirts stairway to get all my xp. This is working much better for me. Getting the deathblow on one of the lone shadows fighting the two samurai can be a little annoying though
@@bigearl9849 only if they aren't alerted to you already. All abduction/vortex does is turn them around, with Golden getting you a dropped item in the process.

That's what I'm doing too. So far I've got the platinum on Dark Souls 1, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Sekiro was always the hardest for me so I'm hoping to get that out of the way soon.
When making the falling death blow to the red guard on the left of the door, just crouch behind the door and the red guard on the right will stop at the door then stop “Searching” and turn his back to you for an easy deathblow on him as well…
Hey, when you get down to the 2 red soldiers, heres what you should do, its much much better. you get landing kill on the LEFT one (left from your vision, when you land towards them) and then you jump on the first door, jump gently behind the 2nd door and you can kill the second one with backstab, he will start walking away once you kill the first guy. (YOU CAN ALSO JUST STAND ON THE FOOR, LOCK ON HIM WHEN HE GETS RIGHT UNDER YOU, JUMP AND LAND KILL) much faster and also saving you spirits.
There was a dude who said he figured he'd practice speed running the Shura ending, got to New game + 9 or some shit and ended up fighting bosses that dropped 75,000 xp. No idea how true it is, but it's absurd how much you need to play this for this trophy. Ong it is wild how long it takes to get.
@@dorianpompa8409 I'm about to make your life easier. When you're in that save you have now, get to this point in the game. Kill the first enemy after the save point, then the one on the small catwalk, then leap down into the open area. Immediately leave. The giant will kill both of the red guard. Leave the area like you're going into Ashina depths and kill the red guard against the wall with a stealth kill, then stealth kill the monk at the bridge. This is about 20k xp and takes a little under 60 seconds. Use the homeward idol to return to the start of the run. It took me about 25 minutes to buy my last skills using this method. I just listened to a podcast while doing it.
Thanks for the video but this run is quite unreliable in term of regularity, the 2 ninjas fighting the samurai give a good amount of xp for one run but it's very easy to fail the backstab deathblow as they are constantly moving. If you fail it makes you have to skip this section as it's not worth to fight them at this point as you will take a lot more time to fix the mistake instead of just jumping to the next section
yes the farm on Ashina outskirts is easier and more efficient, roughly 92xp/sec while the upper tower is 87xp/sec, and the upper chamber is easy to mess up
@minecrafthcs7821 for some reason RUclipsrs tell you to backstab the purple ninjas. Don't. Backstab the blue robes guy, and use your ninjitsu bloodsmoke to finish the purple ones. Works every time. Also, the second red soldier at the door can be pulled to the one outside and bloodsmoke can take them down at the same time. THis makes the run faster and slifhtly more xp per run sinxe you get 600 or so for killing each blue robe😊
Great video! Also if your using gachiin's you can hug the wall after dropping down to deathblow the first red hat and the second will turn around so you don't have to have him chase you and time the blood smoke
Can do really quickly with no real swordplay at Fountainhead Palace at Flower Viewing Stage. Making about 4000/min in NG. Just go back towards the complex and don't enter, go left around the corner and kill the Palace Noble (backstab if you can't one-shot). Then go into the interior and double jump off outer wall to the ledge of the inner wall (slightly tricky but once you get the hang of it you'll get it first try 80%+ of the time - this is the only "difficult part"). Lock on to the Okami Elite and stealth kill, then run to the next Palace Noble before he enfeebles you (plenty of time), then run back to where you started, killing the final Palace Noble on your way. Palace Noble x 3: 1590 exp Okami Elite x1: 1060 exp Total: 2650 exp Usually takes about 35-40 seconds depending on wall jump and if you can one-shot the Palace Nobles to avoid second hits or deathblow animation.
I know this is 2 years old but to anyone watching, if you leave the chained ogre that spawns by the 2 red guards, if you drop by the exit door the red guards will target the orge before getting one hit making the run much faster
I did the math and this method only nets you shout 7.4k exp. If you fast travel to the sculptor's idol Outskirts Wall - Stairway, and just stealth deathblow all of the red guards you can find, you can get about 10.6k exp. On ng+4 that would net 40k exp per run, whereas your method would only net 29.6k exp per run.
Instead of using mortal draw you can bait the second red guard when you drop down to follow you to the third red guy outside and then use the blood smoke on him before executing the one that followed you
I used to use this sort of route but the reliability of certain variables is too troublesome. For example, the second purple shinobi often gets turned around or jumps away as you are approaching. The failure rate is actually quite a bit higher than another route I've devised, in the same spirit as this one.

I’m on ng+3 in this video. This is the highest exp run I was able to find, it gives more than the ashina outskirts one I’m pretty sure. But you can run that one too, it’s all just preference honestly. Good luck!
@@lawz0 I realized that mistake now. I should’ve used my skill points for the skills 😑😑 I’m on my 2nd playthrough with grandpa sword saint whooping my ass yet again. Can’t even feel if there’s an increase in my attack power after all.
If you havent killed the chained ogre inside the room with two red guard soliders, the ogre will just kill them for you. Makes the grind somewhat easier
If u have ogre alive down in the middle u can land on the beam and let the guards aggro, the ogre will kill them and then u can go and do the rest no struggle
Solid run, I can never get the 2 purple shinobi fighting in stealth. It's always random and I either get 1 or none. So I skip and go to the other dude.
Someone can add the two white apes(starting point Great Serpent idol), the ninja on the last right roof outside the place you kill the two red guards and the two giants. They can all stealth killed, just takes a little more time.
I'm in NG+3 and have all the trophies but this one. Should I move to NG+4 or just rinse and repeat your video? I'm about 20 skills points away. Great stuff by the way!

You have to beat the sunken boss and 2 other bosses, one from the mibu village past the ghost lady And get the mortal blade, I'm trying not to spoil the bosses
I’m in late game, but those purple guys aren’t there and in the second room where they fighting, it’s just 1 purple guy and a bunch of blue guys sitting around. Did they patch it or something?

i found it easier just to kill the first one and go back to the statue because not is it only hard to get the other two but you're wasting spirit emblems
Yeah i just beat him the other day. Was a pita and didnt think i would ever beat him. I fought him by the bridge out of the grass, seemed to help read his attacks better and turned off the music as well. Watch some different vids of people fighting him. Youll get it soon
i also got the platinum trophy, but i didnt do a single second of grinding, i simply played the game until ng+7, rushing the shura ending as fast as possible every time, just from the bossfights alone i got enough exp for all skills in the game, the least boring way to do this, imo. final ingame time on that account was only 30 hours i think, might actually be less.
@@supem1234 mini bosses dont drop anything, just kill the bosses that you absolutely have to kill for the shura ending, but there are still mini bosses on the way, first you have to do chained ogre, gyobu, then the flame bull, ashina elite is in your way, genichiro, robertoo dude, folding screen monkeys, you have to do both snake eyes, one long armed centipide, guardian ape, mist noble, fake corrupted monk in mibu village, you could also do one optional lone shadow and orin of the water to get one additional jizo statue per playthrough from the quest, which comes in handy if you plan to do gauntlet of strength, since you have 4 revives then, your normal one, dragon blood, normal jizo and the one from the questline. after that only the shura ending fight is left i think, you dont have to do the lone shadow fight since you can just use those planks to go straight to the top. either way you wanna finish the game as fast as possible since every time you beat the game everything drops way more exp, on ng7 genichiro drops 80k i think, if you wanna get even more xp you can also do charmless but the game gets so much harder that it wasnt worth it for me, its better if you can beat everything first try without worry, 1 shura ending rush takes like half an hour i think. also at ng+7 charmless those red invader guys before the shura ending also drop like 8k xp a kill, with kuro charm they drop 6k xp a kill which is still super good.
how don you get that much exp??im on my first playtrough and i get only like 300exp for one of the red guys(im that the point of the game where im finding Kuro and killing Ishin)
you have to get to the foutain head palace, then go to the divine realm, SPOILER: Kill the dragon then there will be a war at Ashina during that they will all be purple

little late but use blood smoke you can death blow both lone shadows and both samurai if you get them close together

Also the golden fan turns them around and allows you to deathblow them

The 2 purple and 2 blue are so mf buggy. It’s not efficient enough per run. Stairwell is definitely the he better choice

I was to optimize the upper to shave off time and saved 8 seconds which made upper tower better technically, still harder to pull off though

Dude I’ve literally spent over 24 hours calming the Internet to try and find a good farm and you’re the first
So far, I’ve discovered that the second visit to Hirata Estate is a fair option too

This is very good if you have the mask as well because every 5 levels increases your attack power
The bloodsmoke death blow is really making this annoying for me to do, i cant even get it to do it without restarting whole loop
I messed up on getting the return or the purification ending so this will help a lot in the future
Fun fact: if you leave the chained ogre down there alive the 2 red guys will try to kill him and die and you will get the xp

After drop killing the red guard you can actually double jump on to the door and then jump on the second guard

@@supem1234 mini bosses dont drop anything, just kill the bosses that you absolutely have to kill for the shura ending, but there are still mini bosses on the way, first you have to do chained ogre, gyobu, then the flame bull, ashina elite is in your way, genichiro, robertoo dude, folding screen monkeys, you have to do both snake eyes, one long armed centipide, guardian ape, mist noble, fake corrupted monk in mibu village, you could also do one optional lone shadow and orin of the water to get one additional jizo statue per playthrough from the quest, which comes in handy if you plan to do gauntlet of strength, since you have 4 revives then, your normal one, dragon blood, normal jizo and the one from the questline. after that only the shura ending fight is left i think, you dont have to do the lone shadow fight since you can just use those planks to go straight to the top. either way you wanna finish the game as fast as possible since every time you beat the game everything drops way more exp, on ng7 genichiro drops 80k i think, if you wanna get even more xp you can also do charmless but the game gets so much harder that it wasnt worth it for me, its better if you can beat everything first try without worry, 1 shura ending rush takes like half an hour i think. also at ng+7 charmless those red invader guys before the shura ending also drop like 8k xp a kill, with kuro charm they drop 6k xp a kill which is still super good.

yeah i’m on ng++ for this strat. every time you go into a + playthrough you get much more xp per kill

all of the skills in the game can be bought in the skill tree. From what i remember you have to find scrolls to unlock all of them
So I am farming up xp currently and all I need is that and the Shura ending. Will this route be available if I am just going for the shura ending?
Bit late but no, it’s only after fountainhead palace boss and can only get there if siding with Kuro 👍🏼

how don you get that much exp??im on my first playtrough and i get only like 300exp for one of the red guys(im that the point of the game where im finding Kuro and killing Ishin)

you have to get to the foutain head palace, then go to the divine realm, SPOILER: Kill the dragon then there will be a war at Ashina during that they will all be purple

Why do you get 4,000 skill per kill? I only get like 700

Skills doesn't give you other endings. For 4k XP you need to be in a NG+4

Like i still need to unlock like 3-5 skill from the last skill panel which are the the ones that cost like 5-6 but i farm the shura ending por the atk power that you need memories to keep getting it till you have 99

I did 3, one for each ending. I didn’t know it was possible to get plat with only 2 playthroughs
@@Tizona there's 4 endings. You get 3 in your first playthrough and Shura ending in your second.

When i kill him i only get 648exp per person , iam doing this after defeating divine dragon
yea this run was recorded in NG++ so its giving a good bit more xp
How do you get alot of exp from them ?! Me at fisrt run btw and at end game these purple ninja give 1k and some 500 exp !
