How to see more information with Tappable Transactions

Transactions are now tappable on the AIB app - here’s how it works.
Login to the AIB mobile app.
Select the account you wish to view the transactions in.
Let’s look at the Green Grocery transaction in June.
Simply tap the Green Grocery transaction to see more detail.
You can see from the Transaction date that you made a Purchase in Green Grocery on the 15th.
But the transaction did not hit your account until the 17th.
This is because it often takes a few days for a transaction to be processed.
The transaction date is the day you were in the shop, and the processing date is the day it hits your account.
If we look at Transaction Type, it shows that it was a Purchase.
It could also be an “ATM withdrawal” or a “transfer” for example.
The Category shows a bit more detail.
Tap the back arrow to navigate back to your accounts screen.
Tap the current account transaction
When you move money between your accounts, it shows as Between my accounts.
This is an ATM withdrawal for €40. You can see the time, date and place that the money was taken out.
The withdrawal was done on the 14th, and it was processed two days later on the 16th June. The transaction type is Withdrawal, and the category is Withdrawals and Transfers.
