Very nice - but baked beans are NOT part of an English breakfast; they (and hash browns) were introduced in transport cafés in the early 1980s. Unfortunately, but understandably, cafes offer what their customers demand.
Let me give you this information and you will see the baked bean has been a choice of many maybe not you - here you go - Heinz Baked Beans first appeared on the shelves in the UK in 1901. They were initially sold at Fortnum & Mason, a high-end department store in London, as a luxury item. Over time, they became a staple in British households and are now one of the most popular canned foods in the UK. So I guess from 1901 I think they made it to the English Breakfast. Best, Rik
@@BackyardChef I believe it started in transport cafés in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Black pudding is a type of blood sausage that is traditionally eaten in Great Britain, Ireland, and in other parts of Europe. It is known for its distinctive black color, which comes from one of its primary ingredients: blood, usually from a pig. Its challenging to make at how. However, can be done. Best, Rik

Black pudding is available in specialty Irish shops in Queens, New York. Some local diners in Queens do a full English breakfast, too, although it’s never as good as the breakfasts I’ve had in the UK. But they’ll do in a pinch when I’m having a craving for a full English!!

Oh boy! that English breakfast looks heavenly delicious.!! i have only eaten an English breakfast one time when we traveled to Victoria, BC You do not see English breakfast on the menu anywhere south of the Canadian border here. in WA State in the US. One item that was not on that English breakfast is ‘black pudding” My Grandma told me they made Blood sausage on the farm in North Dakota.. I am so hungry watching this video, i am wondering can anyone describe the taste of black pudding?? There is an English Tea Room in our little town. They have a British flag in the window and they sell English food items such as jars of lemon curd, jams and various kinds of Tea. My favorite tea is called “Yorkshire Gold” I also noticed cans of Black pudding and something called “Dick”.or spotted Dick.?what is that?? is the black pudding in a can the best way to buy it? All of the traditional one pot dinners that Rik makes are something new to me. The weather here has been so cold, I have been longing for something Hot from the Pot And a big platter of English Breakfast. ❤
English black pudding, a traditional component of a full English breakfast, has a distinct, rich taste. It's made from pork blood, fat, oatmeal, and various seasonings like barley and spices. The flavour is deep and earthy, with a slightly metallic undertone due to the blood. The texture is firm yet slightly crumbly, and it has a hearty, savory profile. The spices and oatmeal provide a balance, adding a subtle grainy, nutty taste that complements the robustness of the blood and pork fat. When cooked, it develops a crisp outer layer while retaining a moist, tender interior. It's often described as an acquired taste due to its unique flavour and ingredients. It's delicious! Best, Rik
Spotted dick is a pudding with currants in it. It is steamed and served hot with custard. It's very nice. It's been around since Victorian times, if not earlier.
I cook with anything at hand - I'm not fussy - Ive cooked professionally for more than 40 years - spoons are ok as so are tongs - but what ever is at hand. Best, Rik
That depends on how you like your eggs and there was too much of everything but i'm guessing that's because a nice full plate looks better, he did say he didn't eat it all himself.
Also you're habit to check yourself on the camera's angle....don't get angry Mr.Rik...I'm just a keen observer☺and it's very noticeable in your video "Full English Breakfast-The Full Monty"...GOD BLESS from Philippines 👍✌🙌

No such thing as an English breakfast, it is a cooked breakfast. The English want to take possession of everything, including the British language. The so called English breakfast came into the language when the English started to go to France in the 60's and found the French did not have the same breakfast. An Aussie in the outback having bacon and eggs is not saying to himself this English breakfast is great !
Why would the English want to take possession of the British Language when they speak the English Language, the most recognised language and SORT AFTER in the world. Enlighten all of us why there is no such thing as an English Breakfast instead of the stupid negative comment! No doubt your knowledge will tell us there is No such thing as a New York Cheesecake - because it's a cooked cheesecake in New York. Go moan on someone else's channel. Best, Rik
Just as they take possession of the Bank of England when it is the Bank of the United Kingdom, as I said, the English want to take possession of anything they can, including bacon and eggs for breakfast.@@BackyardChef
Heres the fact - The Bank of England, often referred to as the "Old Lady" of Threadneedle Street, was founded in 1694 and has always been known by that name. It was established as a private bank to act as banker to the Government, and it was specifically set up to finance the war effort during a period of conflict with France. The bank was originally established in the Mercers' Hall in Cheapside, London, before moving to its current location on Threadneedle Street in 1734. The Bank of England was never officially known as the Bank of the United Kingdom. However, it's worth noting that the Bank of England has acted as the central bank for the entire United Kingdom for much of its history, despite its name. It has been the UK's central bank since the early 20th century, and before the establishment of separate central banks for Scotland and Northern Ireland, it served all parts of the UK. In 1946, the Bank of England was nationalized and is now wholly owned by the UK government. Despite this, it operates independently of government control when it comes to setting monetary policy, particularly in relation to setting interest rates. GO AND MOAN somewhere else. Best, Rik
yes and it was formed by a Scotsman the same man as formed the Bank of Scotland and when Scotland joined England in 1707 to form the United Kingdom the name of the Bank of England staid rather than what should have happened, th bank of the United kingdom. Looks really good Khun Rik, one question how did you get the black pudding? it's a really rare item in my opinion.
Hey there Khun Sarawut - yes Black pudding is not availabe everywhere - usually in the areas where foriegners are - Chiangmai Rimping - Pattaya many places - and in Bangkok -there are online ordering sites as well. best, Rik
The best Black pudding is from Bury market in Lancashire England.
@@davidspeight8790 Being from Lancashire i would tend to agree with you.
Black pudding is available in specialty Irish shops in Queens, New York. Some local diners in Queens do a full English breakfast, too, although it’s never as good as the breakfasts I’ve had in the UK. But they’ll do in a pinch when I’m having a craving for a full English!!
A cardiologist's nightmare.
Once in a while
i cant eat mushroom stumps. got to pull them out first.
Great looking full english with none of those bloody hash browns 👍👍👍
Some HP sauce and a decent mug of tea and you've got breakfast heaven 🤤🤤🤤
Hi! New sub here 🖐 from Florida in the U.S.! This looks amazing 😁👍. I would love to replicate this here but you cannot get Black Pudding readily as far as I know here in Florida where I live but I'll be on the lookout for it 👀. I look forward to seeing more videos from you. Take care 👍.
Thanks for joining us. You should be able to make a whole heap of recipes from my channel. Best, Rik
It’s fine egg
That's like for ten people?
Oh boy! that English breakfast looks heavenly delicious.!! i have only eaten an English breakfast one time when we traveled to Victoria, BC You do not see English breakfast on the menu anywhere south of the Canadian border here. in WA State in the US.
HP sauce optional!
Some like ketchup. Best, Rik
love the full english please deliver to:

Very good

No harm done as a one off. I don't think any body would eat all that on a regular basis.👍🙏 😃
The yoke does not look nice and runny
3 tomatoes…….in what world , this is what 3 servings ?
Delicious. Best, Rik
English breakfast food of the gods but don't tell what's its name moaner who doesn't like the English 😂
Agreed! Thank you. Best, Rik
bit of a song and dance. just get down to weatherspoons and av a doombarr with it, lovely jubble
Can't beat a good song and dance. Best, Rik
But it will never be as good as homemade one.
Where's the chips?
Full English does not typically come with chips sometimes if you get an all day Breakfast it does.
Food looks amazing. But oh my god, ditch the spoons and use some tongs.
I cook with anything at hand - I'm not fussy - Ive cooked professionally for more than 40 years - spoons are ok as so are tongs - but what ever is at hand. Best, Rik
It's sometimes easier to use spoons to turn things over.
I could eat about half of that, but only after I teach you how to cook eggs. What you did to those poor eggs should be considered a war crime.
Ha ha ha. Best, Rik
My Mother-in-law cooked eggs that way, she called them “lacey eggs” because the white looked like lace.
It's not easy getting the perfect egg. Especially when you are having to talk to an audience.
Too many tomatoes. Lets all the food cool down🤦🏻♂️Eggs overcooked
Cook as you like. Best, Rik
That depends on how you like your eggs and there was too much of everything but i'm guessing that's because a nice full plate looks better, he did say he didn't eat it all himself.
How can this guy cook with spoons? Give this guy a fork or those grabber tongs. Turning his sausages would have been alot easier. Spoons, really?????
This guy can cook with anything - do you think tongs are used only in a working kitchen - use anything to hand to do the job. Best, Rik
💗💗😍😍🥰🥰
Thanks
Where's the hp sauce.
Hahaha...don't you have other kitchen utensils to flip easier instead of using 2 spoons you're having a hard time in your cooking...😉😆
Yes - I use what ever is at hand - old habits, eh! Best, Rik
Also you're habit to check yourself on the camera's angle....don't get angry Mr.Rik...I'm just a keen observer☺and it's very noticeable in your video "Full English Breakfast-The Full Monty"...GOD BLESS from Philippines 👍✌🙌
Yeah was new to all of this. No abgry - have to keep checking I have it in focus this is all a one man band . Best, Rik
why are you using a spoon to turn things over , your struggling
I tend to use what I have at hand. Best, Rik
Every time he used metal spoons in the non-stick pan, I cringed! 😬
Cringe away - that's how to cook - turn off and go watch some made up channel with a wooden spoon or plastic or even an asmar channel with the sound off and some music. Pathetic! Work in a real kitchen and see how things are cooked. Best, Rik
OK I am going to try doing it Riks way with 2 spoons..
Can you name another country that has its bank by another nationality like Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland, as I said England wants to take possession of anything they can, even bacon and eggs.

A lot of unnecessary messing about
An enlightening explanation would be better than a flippant comment. Best, Rik
Pan cooked breakfast too much messing about, everything in the oven except the eggs.
