Me too!!! I have to seriously visualise gymnasts cycling over bridges then shooting arrows, before rowing along the river under the bridge on the way to badminton practice, before the more gentle activities of ping pong and needlework 😂 How does he DO it!!???
Same. It's like the 'stay' and 'run' in Run to You, and the 'sad' and 'bad' in Keep on Running.
My last year of school, when this came out, we did badminton on Tuesday and ping-pong on Friday. I'm still confused. 😂

I remember when i bought this album back in the day and it was all that played in my car for MONTHS. I absolutely loved every song and THIS is my favorite. Can't believe it's been 20 years.

Yeah, Permission was the soundtrack of my summer 2003. I was 16 about to go to college. 👌
This was the first album I bought when I’d first moved out into my first house at 19 in the summer of ‘03. It was so different for me at the time, but it was the soundtrack to my life for that next year as a lonely kid still looking for his first love in a very fast paced party scene in Northern Ca. I would play this while we smoked, snorted, dosed, and heavily drank our youth away. It wasn’t the normal Bay Area rap, death metal, or punk rock my friends and I were into at the time. There have been few albums since then where I actually remember when and where I was at that time it came out and have flashbacks of my brains just taking it all in like some frequency specially sent to me from another planet. Like something knew I really needed at that time. Something knew I was about to meet my first love in that crazy lifestyle and it just fit everything I was experiencing at the time. Every so often I come back to feel that nostalgia again and it’s always just as great
