    You can add "-- no mockup" and you'll get rid of the options showing the image on a computer screen, or the whole frame thing. Instead, the entire image will look like a screenshot of the website, easier to work with

    Can I just say. What a time to be alive. I didn't expect this to happen so soon let alone this year. We get to enjoy the incredible fruits of this before all this comes to it's ultimate negative catastrophic outcome that future generations might see. We're right in that sweet spot.

      I think artists are struggling with how to market themselves with the distruption of Ai. Business will really win out of this as they will remove an employee for Ai (save $$$), that's alarming because it's going to affect economy and a bunch of people living. Long term economy issues will eventually show as Ai is going to take out a lot of jobs, artists, copywriters, resume writers, who knows how far it can go. You have to remember GPT-3 is owned by Microsoft, and I don't think we want 3 companies owning all the tech in the end.

    So folks seem to using editor-X that is owned by WIX. Can you comment on Editor X and how it compares to Wordpress: eg. can you use the code / self host it, stuck with their hosting, SEO etc - ..... for a site like this it may not be an issue but for someone who wants to scale up their site these are important questions.

    • @CreativeCrewCommunity
      @CreativeCrewCommunity  Год назад

      This is a great question! Editor X, a Wix product, offers a tremendous no-code, drag-and-drop editor to build responsive and dynamic websites. But even more importantly, you get access to business solutions that can help you run your business and add value to your clients. This is why the cost may be higher than other options - because it provides more value. Editor X/Wix hosting is among the most reliable and secure options you can access, in fact, it's more secure and reliable than using a cheap, shared hosting solution on a WordPress website. In terms of scalability, you won't run into issues - Wix itself is run on Wix infrastructure (the same infrastructure that your Editor X sites, and your clients' Editor X sites, are run on!) - we're talking about a multi-billion dollar company with millions of users. So it'll handle anything you can throw at it.
      However, Editor X is not for everyone, and that's okay. If you're looking for affordable hosting for a hobby website, or if it's crucial that you or your clients use a different tool like WordPress or a custom-built web app - that's totally fine. But if you want to build professional websites while having fast loading speeds, secure hosting, and reliable uptime, then this is definitely worth considering.

    While I like this tech, it's at it's early internet stage where the lack of regulation is the only reason it's useful like this. With all the artists and art we're devaluing by building AI from them, it's going to probably lead to something like how the music industry responded to the internet, i.e. massive creative restrictions. Also, if we give an easy way for people to make content, how would larger corporations that market media that can be generated by the AI react? Given their current massive profits, they'd likely lobby for and install harsher copyright restrictions for the individual. Also, with all the popularity around AI art and content generation, a lot of monetization is going to be installed into actually useful AI while the public gets something built off of wikimedia commons. I just don't see it lasting, like how the copyright-free early days of the internet led to the ad-infested, paywall-guarded internet we have today.

      I wonder if maybe they will use a way of identifying everything used as a source, and then whenever an AI BOT comes along to use that ID tagged source photos, document or sound etc, the BOT will have to indicate in whatever it creates, that it used certain tagged ID from a source file. So then when someone tries to use that in their business or whatever, the system will know about it and deal with it as they choose (fees, fines, removal etc).

      @@azarelthecreator7098 AI is nowhere near being able to be unique. All of what AI does is use the data it's given to put out a "unique" product. Except it's not unique, these are all bits and pieces of developer portfolios being regurgitated by AI to give you a basic idea. When it comes to being unique, if everyone can do this they will, and it will become the new WiX or Editor X where it's laughable at best. If you're not willing to learn to create a site from scratch through coding then you're just not up to business standard. Sure you can use a trash website you built in WiX to promote a product, but once it has become the norm to look like the websites these AI put out; a stigma forms around the designs and they won't be the trend anymore. AI can only keep up when we provide it updated data, which takes time, too much time for AI to be consistent. I say this as someone who's worked with AI, and have also been a web designer/developer for 10+ years.

      @@AJ-tk1uo lol thanks for showing how little you actually know about where ai has developed to. You think what's available for you in the consumer level is where it's actually developed? Lol. You are just training the low level systems right now before the link them to their quantum computers which Im guessing you also have no idea about or you would already know just how advanced ai is outside of the consumer level.

      It's true that web design has become more accessible, but it takes much more than just having the tools available to become a successful web designer. If you have the necessary skills, creativity, and the business savvy to make a career out of it, you can make great money and be extremely fulfilled by the work. However, there are many others who have access to the same tools, but lack the other skills and experience needed to succeed, and they don't make any money or get any satisfaction from the work.

    I really like your tutorials and your engaging presentation. However, I have noticed a disturbing and frustrating consistency on your part in skipping over what I consider to be key steps. In this video, for example, around the 16:30 time stamp, you use ChatGPT to create a color palette for your site. Then, magically I suppose, we are presented with a fully colorized palette in Editor X. How exactly did that transpire? I have noticed you short-circuiting intermediate steps in other of your videos as well. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling frustrated by this. When you are creating your tutorials, imagine you are someone who is trying to learn from what you're presenting.

    It halarious if a professional would actually use this to design a site for a firm. No food truck company would allow a truck on their site that is not their actual site so people can identify their actual product. Sure it's cool for concepting but to actually use the images is sooooooo far away for actually use for real businesses. If you send that design to a client here is what they would say. That truck looks killer now take my picture of our real truck and make it looks that way and anyone using midjourney in this way is unlikely a skilled designer so then they just got them selves in a hole with their client. It's laughable at this point.

      Thanks for watching and for your thoughts. I agree that it’s not at that stage nor would I suggest any professional try to pass a low fidelity mock-up as an end product. Rather, it accelerates the early creative and brainstorming stages. But we’re just seeing the tip of the iceberg here.
