Looks like he wasnt expecting you to be able to pass right there.

He didnt have to make room for anyone there as he was on the racing line the way almost every car runs that corner exit there. The near incident was entirely the Z driver's fault.

Thats not my car but it looks like he didnt see you coming.......I dont think you can overtake on corners at NDSOC sprint days from memory. Thanks for the post though Nigel Mansell.

it was after the exit and unless someone has continued to hug the left of the track even after the end of the ripple strip on the left of the track, the pass on a slower car there is always on the left. Even if he did see him coming, he's not obliged to make room unless there is a chance of contact. Z driver was wrong and demonstrates poor judgement and lack of experience. Dangerous driver.

Wouldn't say it was overtaking on a corner that's well past the apex when the throttle and boost button is applied, the other car wasn't on the raceline for the straight sections between the two corners. That is more a question of why have a 140kw datto with a 400kw race car?

The other car was most certainly on the race line. Have a look at any televised race from there. Cars exit from the inside of the corner on the left and apply power as they drift out to the right-hand side of the track, which is exactly why the blue and white ripple strip is on the right-hand side of the STRAIGHT part of the track. You're an idiot.

The tile should read "I Put Myself In The Dirt Becuase Of My Poor Judgement"The Datsun was on the racing line running from the turn 2 exit to the other side of the track. Your responsibility as the overtaking driver is to pass safely. The Datsun didn't change its line. You just don't know what ur doing. Neither do the others who want to blame the Datsun. It's clear that room was starting to open up on the left of the Datsun. You need to change the title of the clip.

I was certain he was aware I was there as I came up behind him pretty fast at the end of the straight and did not overtake until turn three. It appeared to me that he was making room for me. Obviously not. He was not really on the race line, but must have decided to merge to the right to set up for the next left bend. His right hand mirror was not real good, which I noticed, so...............

you were obviously much faster. doesn't make any difference tho. he was on the racing line. the southern loop is to most people a double apex and you were exactly on the same line as him from the start of the video. he took a fairly late apex on the exit but from that point, he continued to move from the left to the right which is the racing line out of there. how can a car moving from left to right appear that they are making room for you on the right? thats ridiculous. if he saw you, he still did the right thing by holding his line so the overtaking car could predict where he was going. it doesn't matter if his side mirror was any good or not. in fact if it was ineffective and he only saw you in his main mirror, he just held his line because thats also what u do if you dont know where the guy behind you is. you cocked up and you were dangerous. it looks like youve never driven there before if you say that he was not on the racing line because thats where everyone goes. if you did that to me I would have gone to the stewards about you.
