    Brilliant, thank you!
    Do you know a tool that can easily help me fill just part of images with mandala or other patterns that I import without having to erase? I would like to fill just my teddy bear character's clothes with pattern but not his head and exposed limbs.

    Great Video, two things to consider:
    13:25 "Open in place" is now "Place embedded"
    it didn't automatically fit into the shape at first, but this can be done manually and in different styles using the drop-down menu in the Layers Window under Selected

    Do you need to use a certain type of file for the The main photo? I tried this and it didn’t work the Mandela never filled in image. And I couldn’t get my image transparent when I used the magic wand tool.

    • @DreamCreativeBee
      @DreamCreativeBee  3 года назад

      No you don't need a certain file. When you highlighted the area with the magic wand tool did you press delete? Also make sure your Mandala is on the bottom layer. You can also use a clipping mask. This video should help you with that ruclips.net/video/20uxg_1s80U/видео.html

    Hey Kerie. I don't remember in what video you explained how to put together two set of pages for the same coloring book? I have my designs on Canva that's why I would like to know. Thank you.

    • @DreamCreativeBee
      @DreamCreativeBee  3 года назад +1

      I haven't for Canva, but you can open one file then go to folders or all designs on the side and then add a page and add your files to them. Hope that helps. If not just tell me and I will make a video.

      @@DreamCreativeBee Two more questions, Can I upload a file from Canva into PowerPoint? How would I do that?

    • @DreamCreativeBee
      @DreamCreativeBee  3 года назад +1

      @Ana Winter Yes with Canva Pro you can download as a PDF file. If you don't have Canva Pro you can download the PowerPoint and convert the file to pptx using Convert.io

    Can you use something other than PowerPoint and what is it used for?

    • @DreamCreativeBee
      @DreamCreativeBee  3 года назад +1

      Yes you can use any graphic package to create these. Like Affinity Designer, Photopea, Photoshop etc. They are used in different types of coloring books, or activity books. Well any type of coloring page really.

      What about gravit or inkspace

    • @DreamCreativeBee
      @DreamCreativeBee  3 года назад

      Both can do it. Inkscape is very powerful and free. You can create SVGs and dot to dot.

    Hi Kerie, Forgive me for posting this in the wrong place!! I have recently downloaded a pattern pack from Vecteezy and assumed they would come as separate images. I was wrong! So, I was wondering if you had any ideas on how to separate them so I can use each one on it's own? Thanks in advance 🙂

    • @DreamCreativeBee
      @DreamCreativeBee  3 года назад

      Hi, you can use Photopea or Photoshop to separate them. If the jpg image has a low resolutions, use the SVG file, if you don;t have the SVG file convert the EPS file to an SVG at convertio.co/. Open the image in Photopea/Photoshop use the Rectangle Select tool and select the first pattern (when you do this it usually gives you the size of the image), and then copy it on to a new document. If using SVG you can copy the layers across to a new document. Make sure the image you use has the highest DPI. I will do a video for you if I am not making myself clear enough here.

    Very helpful. How about making the elephant all transparent and adding stroke? Then maybe the ears etc would be more pronounced. Also I would have erased all those lines on the trunk which interfere with the pattern. 🙂

    It doesn’t work for me. The image is not filled, it is only going back or front but not filled by the pattern.

    • @DreamCreativeBee
      @DreamCreativeBee  3 года назад

      Did you make the main part of the image transparent first and keep a white background?
