I was driving through town and stopped by an creepy old abandoned funeral home and I was worried there could be squatters but I wanted to clean it up as there was overgrown grass that looked like a hayfield, bushes that were shaggy, trash everywhere and then the owners showed up. They were very appreciative of the work we were doing, wait until you see this transformation.

Hi Erik, maybe there is a local farmer around there that would cut that property for free? Then he could bundle the clippings for his farm. Your mower sure has very sharp blades to cut through that tall grass!

It's amazing how the lawn grew since the 26 June 2022 when you were here and even called the police as you notice that there was a break in 😱 Now you had to use the lawn mower again in the front 😀 which made this place looking much better👍 You still managed to clear even more lawn, bushes and even do some trimming on some "bushes" 😯 What an incredible work done and you're still coming back 👏 👍 Congratulations 👏 🎊 Be blessed 🙏 Sending lots of love ❤️ and positive energy 🌟💫 from South of Spain 🇪🇸

I would think if the owner doesn't want to keep the lawn mowed and wants to sell, this isn't a good way to sell. The better a property looks, the sooner it will sell. Just sayin'. It also means the owner takes pride in his property. You and your son do an amazing job, keep up the great work!

@@OutdoorswithErik on one of the channels the guy mowing called the police for a welfare check. He was mowing the back and there was an awful smell. Turned out there was a body inside. He packed up and got out of there.

Erik I remember you doing this property the 1st time and I don’t think it was this bad before. Nice clean up once again. The owner should hire you on a biweekly basis to assure the lawn is kept up nice. 💰💰💰

I remember the first time you cleaned up this property. It seems worse now. Fantastic job on this clean up. If someone owns this property, they should be paying you to come on a regular basis. It has been abandoned a long time.

You two must have been at this property well in to late afternoon. The shadows are long and the sunlight has a different hue at the 28 min time stamp, as in - going on evening time. And Spencer? Side bushes look nice and even heightened! Great job! I like a semi rounded natural look 👍 would like to see the front two taller bushes near the entrance to the right, cut lower to see more of the windows though. Great idea to mulch up the bush trimmings!
What you did for the owner would have cost him $$$, if he could even find someone to do it. I'm always floored when the property owner isn't jumping for joy when you show up.

I really like to ask myself when strangers make assumptions about other strangers…why? Like I believed I missed the part in the video that showed the owner or even a conversation with the owner…but no, I didn’t miss a thing….just another reach.

What I can’t figure out is this is the second time this property has been shown on a video so why isn’t the owner responsible there are other people who would appreciate it and evidently this owner isn’t one of those.keep doing your thing because it’s appreciated

Awesome job and fascinating video, but I have one question: why is it that the owner cannot pay someone to keep this property up? Surely it is not up to code. It looks to be a good commercial lot on a highway near city centre. There is a lively church next door and a vehicle dealership on the other side. Selling even a part of this land would generate income for upkeep of the rest. But thank you for again improving the beauty of your town and all blessings to your wonderful family!

Looking good. The hole is called a water drain. They are placed at a low point on property. In this instance water entering the drain went into the city drains. You probably will never find a water drain built into the top of a hill because water doesn't run uphill.

That entrance looks more like where they bring the casket out from the chapel to load in hearse to take to the cemetery, not the entrance to the morgue, unless it's used for both purposes. Morgue entrances are usually in the very back of funeral homes, not on the sides unless at the very back corner of buildings.
