I had the same issues & four garages couldn’t find the fault. Took it to main dealership. They found wiring fault , damaged wire that goes down under subframe to starting motor / damaged. After repair all good.
Got caught with similar fuel transfer pump issue on a 2.2 Mondeo. Dropped the exhaust and fuel tank and found that all the pump does is flood a ‘bucket’ which the stand pipe sits in. We live and learn.🙄 (Not heard ‘Til kingdom come’ for a while 😂)

Ive got same issue. Got snap on but how do you get to the option to tell car you've replaced the sensor please ? Ive replaced crank sensor, pulley, trigger wheel,throttle body, sensors and still no start :(
Nice diagnosis, and its also good to know that the fuel pump in the tank doesn't supply fuel to the engine. Thanks for sharing

Those throttle bodies have plastic gears that are well known to crack.
Luckily they're pretty easy to replace.

Hi there is a low pressure pump it’s under the rear drivers side wheel arch

We have a landrover freelander 2 and it's the same colour as this 07 plate
pry off the metal cover the gears usually strip the plastic gears and full of crap. keep up the good work

Ive got crank/no start on an '07 TD4...was a first time starter, all i did was change a N/S/F spring,hasnt started since...i'm baffled?
