Do we need to fill out any declaration form or need to download any app at the airport ? I heard earlier we need to download an app before going Passport control ?
Yes you need to fill out Customs Declaration (BC 2.2) ecd.beacukai.go.id/ This will produce a QR code that they can scan You also need to get Visa On Arrival at the Airport. More detail here: kemlu.go.id/bern/en/pages/visa_kunjungan_saat_kedatangan/5210/etc-menu
hello, how long does it take from landing to making visa and taking luggages? We have a flight from Stambul to Jakarta and next to Bali and we will have 2 hours between landing and flight to Bali. Do you think we will reach our flight? :D
This can varies depending on time of day. For us we lined up the immigration line at 6pm and got our luggage at about 6:35pm, so give or take about 30 minutes. I think 2 hours should be enough if you know where you are going. Are both flights under the same booking code/ticket? if so, your checked in bags will reach the final destination so you don't have to pick it up at CGK, meaning you don't actually clear customs per se. Are you flying Garuda? if you are then there is a special/express transit lane from international arrival to domestic terminal which makes the transfer quicker and smoother experience. If they are 2 separate bookings, you need to check the tickets whether they are in same terminal. Soekarno-Hatta (CGK) airport have 3 terminals T1, T2 and T3 you can transfer between terminals. There is Skytrain which is free of charge and runs every 5 minutes. You can read more info here: jakartatravelguide.com/jakarta-airport-guide/
@@amalhassan09 Not all countries can travel for free to Indonesia. Citizens of ASEAN member countries, such as Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Timor Leste, are eligible for visa-free entry. Otherwise you will have to pay Visa on Arrival which is not free. It cost IDR 500,000 IDR or USD 35 or AUD 50. That is valid for 30 days. You can pay at the immigration checkpoint at the airport so bring the correct change as they only accept cash.
