took a drive down to the Swartkops River this afternoon to see if the river might be coming down and it was so enjoy the video #flooding #flooding2024 #swartkops
Thanks for the vid. I fished Swartkops from mid seventies until 2000. I was a member of the rod club and remember the floods around late 70's or early 80's when it was one big lake. The river was right up to the club house. About 2 weeks later the fishing was really good.
How's going Graham Swartkops are still one of my favorite rivers to fish. I started fish there mid 90s as a junior. It's been good to me over the years. I was a member at hook and reel those days, but I'm now at the rod club. 1999 I managed to catch a 2.7kg kingklip in swarkops. Was a big story those years, not sure if you heard about it ? Also caught my biggest cob and many other PBs in that river. I said to the guys the river going to be very fishy in a week of two.
Thanks for the video, I was at Redhouse about a month ago and was so disappointed to see the black coffee like water. Pity about the damage but thank GOD for cleaning the river with rainwater. The damage could have been worse. I wish government could step up to their task of maintaining our beautiful land.
Glad you enjoyedit.Nice to hear from my international subscribers. I would still love to move to NZ fishing looks proper there. I don't think I'll ever be home. 🎣🎣🎣
Thank you for this video. My sister lives 23 Amsterdam Hoek road so I was concerned but she says all OK... Especially yesterday seeing the main road to Grahamstown having sea and rocks spreed out
I grew up in that area and I have never ever seen it like that. You mentioned that it came from the east and I know from childhood that floods like this one, came normally from the east. Thank you for your video, it was great to watch 🙌🙌👍👍
ps: You accidentally swapped the K & T in your video thumbnail line, it reads "Swarktops" instead of "Swartkops" (I guess the floods got to it 😄) Thanks for the reporting though, great job 😉
2020 Dimensions opened up for Nibiru to come, meteor wormwood must be very close now, yummy. Yashua will come back next year & rule from the New Jerusalem in the Kalahari desert.

🇿🇦
Very needed.. don't complain
How long until the river is fishble again?
Depending on the rain maybe a week or 2.
@@fishingPLZ dam just got back into fishing after 2 years away chasing all my PBS can't wait for the summer 🌞🌞
@bigdsouthafrican5742 but I think it's going to do the river good having a proper flush. Once it settles the fishing should be good.
As it was in the days of Nohwa
What u think about the fishing now in the river
I don't think it will be worth it. There's too much freshwater coming down the river.
Bwb looks bad since i lived there, im not talking about the flood damage...
I have lived in BWB for more than 20 years. Believe me, the rest of PE doesn't look too good either.
Ek het in Blouwaterbaai gebly
This is Mother Earth fighting back for all the destruction the Human race has done!!!
