Dude, I speak American English and the way you say pump is awesome. I find myself saying "pump" whenever you do. Ever time I say "pump" like you, I smile like an idiot because you make it fun to say.
I think you are on the right track. Good to experiment with small batches. Better to fail with low cost than high cost. Glad to see you posting so soon with the new equipment. Hope it all goes good. 🍻
I tend to only do 10L/half batches these days, so very interesting to see an all in one unit dedicated to this. Thanks for the overview. Hope you are keeping well. Cheers mate 🍻
My BM 10L has a 1000W element. I use a thermal jacket and achieve about a 0.5 gal/1.9L boil-off per hour, without any lid or hood. Post-boil kettle loss is anywhere from almost none to 0.03 gal/110 mL, mostly because the unit is so small that it can be easily tipped and nearly emptied.
Good ideal! Usually I use the powder that Speidel sells in the kit with the brushes. Sometimes I use PBW. Video about cleaning is a serious idea! Cheers
Hi Glenn! Hope you are doing well! I received my Braumeister 50l but I have lots of questions before my first brew, is it possible to DM you? If not, don’t worry 😉 Cheers mate 🍻

I think that small Braumeister would be a good giveaway.
