Beg your pardon but Amanda's character wanted to keep Will but it was extremely hard for a single woman to adopt a baby back then that's why she named him after her father but Will sort of keeps her at arms length. off topic remember when she was being investigated and Ormwood found the vibrator in her drawer? lol.
