Colgera's such a fun boss fight you're literally having an air battle. It's so satisfying one cycling it during it's 2nd phase where he rises from beneath and flurry shot its weak spot one at a time.
3:00 I was chewing on my hoodie's collar strings out of habit, and when this came on, I laughed SO Hard that I sucked the string down my throat for a second. Glad it's attached to my shirt.
I cant wait to receive a copy of totk from my aunt, youre one of the few totk content creators ive been watching in order to avoid story spoilers. Much love and keep on making epic like this :)
Yes, Yunobo made precise navigation of Death Mountain miserable, as he kept airbombing me into flinching, potentially throwing me off a cliff! The jumpscares only apply to the Physical Goron though, so after he becomes a Sage it becomes a non-problem...
I look forward to this series every day and I was so hyped when today's video dropped early. I cannot get over the Naydra Temeraire RP, it's the best thing I've ever seen. Now if someone could come up with a tank that allowed independent control of weapons so I can park my tank while they keep firing...
I 100% thought that diving through Colgera's weakspots was how you were supposed to fight it. The game has been teaching you for hours to dive through glowing rings and the thing is literally made of giant targets.
I really enjoy the edits you usually make for the thumbnails - and I'm impressed that this time, the build didn't need it! Colgera being so easy makes sense, as the game points you to the Wind Temple as the first "intended" dungeon, if you just talk to NPCs and go along with what they're hinting you towards.
Another way to test for a yiga member is to place a yiga vehicle like the gloomdregder or the hoverdoom near an MPC. If it’s a yiga, they will have special text
I dove through Colgera, I thought that's how you fight him..and then I watched somebody's playthrough.. haha! I just love how we all have different ways to play this game
8:27 The one downside to this is it's only just high enough to trigger, which means if you jump towards a piece of the ground that's a little bit more elevated than where you are it won't work. So you have to be aware of that, especially when fighting one of the Lynels that aren't on completely flat ground.
Sidon photobombed me when I was trying to take a pic of an Octorok for the compendium. He swooped in and killed it right when I took the picture. He was in a pretty sick action pose tho, so I displayed that picture in the art room in my home!
Yknow if we do get dlc i hope we get sheikah tech to build with: guardian heads, guardian legs, self stabilizing propellers, maybe a bomb box generator using rune tech, and other guardian/sheikah tech that would be great for combining with zonai tech. We’ve already seen the cool stuff people have made by stealing shrine tech like the electricity powered batteries, propellers, and motors, so a reintroduction (and explanation) of sheikah tech would be really cool!
9:46 i kid you not, because of watching videos like this series is why i know that works far to well and how broken recall is. infact i asume that was part of the shrine because of the fact it sets up a "go get it" puzzle and rewards people who know how recall can work. ive also used recall on far to many need to continusly rotate objects to open doors puzzles by manually moving them and recalling it.
Agree, Yunobo nearly stopped me finishing the fire temple, he kept getting in the way as I moved, kept slipping off edges.... Not to mention that 'Goro' on the end of most sentences....
I think it's the one under Zora's Domain, but that could be wrong. You can get a motor and the propellor from the shrine at Rist Peninsula (swirly line in Akkala). Idk about any others.
I just tested it. Unfortunately it doesnt add anything extra to the wind slash like elemental stuff does. I mean you can still attach it to it but you will have to hit with the sword and it will vaporize mobs like usual. Stick to the short eightfold blades to abuse sneak strikes with puff shrooms.
@@RubenRyb66 it's not supposed to add to the wind slash other then damage it seems to be the only thing other then elemental effects that buff the wind slashes damage
@@CG-_- it doesnt do anything to the dmg either though. Either that or its just to subtle to notice on silver mobs. Its no crap ton of dmg in other words. If raw dmg is just getting added to it silver lynel horns would be best, but I dont see any increase of wind slice with anything.
@@RubenRyb66 for me it was the difference between 5 charged 7 normal wind slashes and 3 charged 5normal slashes vs a silver boss bocoblin with the berserker armor
@@CG-_- no way lmao. I just tried it out. The wind slashes took a fragment of silver moblins health with the ancient blade and it was barely even noticable xD, after about 3 minutes I switched to an electric gleeok horn just to see progress while I was messing around.
Honestly surprised more vids/clips aren’t using Ultrahand to pull stuff from Recall- that was the first trick i picked up on Day 1, and haven’t seen ANYONE utilize
Has anyone ever try to create a machine that yeets enemies or items like that thing that comes with Hot Wheels tracks? You know that thing where you put the toy car in between two spinning wheels that launch it? Is it possible to make something like that in TotK?

Agreed. Especially whilst wearing the wing suit.
It’s bullet time not flurry shot but ok
It's fun but weak, wish it had better attacks, or moved faster.
You use arrows to break colgera's weakspots in one to two shots
I skydive straight through them at full speed
we are not the same

Gonna like and comment with the hope of more people being able to find this
That last one, Link went 'NOPE!'.
To the guy who made the clip @3:17….. you sick bastard!! 👍
I liked the sand shrine! It feels amazing once you have a good hover board set up for the sand!
I gave up and built the 2 fan hover bike😅
@Link Link I made a hoversled. For fun.
Yes, Yunobo made precise navigation of Death Mountain miserable, as he kept airbombing me into flinching, potentially throwing me off a cliff!
The jumpscares only apply to the Physical Goron though, so after he becomes a Sage it becomes a non-problem...
I just used an airbike lol
It was a SERIOUS problem inside the Fire Temple. He’d disappear in the gong rooms and I couldn’t do anything to get him back…
I actually did the recall cheese for that shrine when I completed it. Recall is such a useful ability.
Do u know what it is called by chance?
I used recall too, I was trying anything but dealing with that sand. So satisfying when it worked 😂

9:35 i actually Did the Recall method first try. I was like "can i just...?" Saw the Recall line and went "ok, back- back ya come now..."
loving these videos, they're great for inspiration
True
Pulling bananas out of his pocket in front of a princess... then a game over screen.

I 100% thought that diving through Colgera's weakspots was how you were supposed to fight it. The game has been teaching you for hours to dive through glowing rings and the thing is literally made of giant targets.
The design of this game is built around the philosophy "you can do it however way you like." If it works, it works.
You made me spill my coffee with that first clip
The recalling ball thing was literally the first thing that my instinct tells me to do too on that shrine. Was feelin really proud that day.
I did it on stream and my chat told me i was too smart. Then of course everyone thought of it
Hunny, wake up, new Bokoblin torture training video just dropped!
Did MoglyBogly just spontaneously combust in the middle of the Faron rainforest?
9:35 I spent like an hour in that shrine 😭 eventually just made a giant bridge across the sand lmao

Both work. But in my experience, the big sky-death worm always is set up for perfect arrow shots.
For that shrine, i just overengineered a wooden contraption around the launcher so the ball never got launched.
3:24 be sus to another degree
V2 of the infinite flight machine is absolutely insane!!! I’m over here just happy I made a hover bike that flies directly straight finally.

I had a much simpler answer to the sand shrine. I built a cap over the launcher with the wooden planks so the ball just fell to the side
