Wow, u are a genius indeed. This is your second video I am watching and I am subscribing right away. I am planning of starting by Feb next year. But you allocated the whole 100% to these only, how about other ingredients like wheat offal, limestone, lysine, premix etc
Thank you Mr.Erus🙏. Yayyy I’m glad you’re planning on starting your farm. This video was mainly on how to calculate for the actual feed ingredients. I have another video on how to combine the ingredients plus the additional nutrients like the premix and lysine. It also shows what amount of limestone to also add fora specific kilogram of feed. Others like wheat offal and rice bran are ingredients that can replace some of the four ingredients I based on this video.

Assuming one use Pearson square method to formulate 1000kg of chicken feed without additives,if he/she add additives after formulation,will it not be more than 1000kg?
It will be more than 1000kg. But note that the additives that will be added will be in amounts required to make 1000kg meal rich. And afterwards you’ll feed the chicken based on daily kilograms required so there’ll be no overfeeding.
Chickens are naturally omnivores which consume worms and bugs when available. This forcing them to solely stick to plant based protein will be a problem. Most plant-based protein sources are incomplete protein sources, meaning they lack some essential amino acids. One of such important protein-based amino is methionine and lack of this will affect their growth or even lead to illness.
Thanks for your answer , don't get tired of questions, you are my mentor. What if we add that essential amino acid(methionine) in the feed , do you think will be better?, methionine is available on the market
@@georgemwenechanya8190 the methionine is just one example of such amino acids that the are deficient in plant-based protein. There are others like: tryptophan, lycine, isoleucine and others. So it’s better to use some amount of animal protein to be on the safe. If you’re good with experiments then you can try this; get maybe 2 chicken, feed them with plant protein feed and let’s see how it goes.
