I played these games so long ago, it's great to relive them through other gamers. Wonder if she'll play 'The lost legacy.' Julia seems a big Chloe fan.
I really like that during that fight in the bar, if you're paying attention, you can see that Charlie is actually helping Nate and Sully during the fight the entire time.
And to think none of this adventure would've happened if not for Elena. Remember when she and Nathan found Francis Drake's body Nate took the ring from around his neck and left it with the body. Elena picked it up and gave it back to Nate at the end of the first game.
My big issue with the third game is the cruise ship section. It is arguably the most exciting part of the game. It's a lot of fun to play. It also does absolutely nothing to advance the story, and Nate, somehow, ends up exactly where he was before it happened with nothing having changed. On one hand I love playing it, but on the other hand, every time he washes back up on shore, I have the same thought, "Well, that accomplished nothing and took up a lot of time."
A spoiler free tip to open up lots of new angles for fun in the melee sections; manuever your opponent to objects like tables, windows, bottles etc. You can grab and shove them in the direction you want. The environments from this game onwards are so much fun, and very interactive. If you see something that could be used as a weapon, it probably can, just position yourself right. The bar fight at the start is even more fun with that in mind, throwing the dudes out the window one at a time etc
And another thing about the combat that no one really realizes is that if you shoot someone a couple times THEN attack them. Drake will perform a finisher on them. He'll drop kick them, Or slide under them and hit them in the nuts, Or he'll throw his gun at them and punch them in the face or he'll whip them with the back of the gun. It's great. No one realizes that though
“It’s gotta here, it has be” “why here? It could literally be anywhere” Proceeds to offer no explanation, basically “because I said so”. Nate doing a great Boomer Dad impression there!
There's a similar newspaper in the last of us. That same bar was used in the Pittsburgh level. That newspaper says. " Justin Bieber to star as nathan drake in uncharted film"
Hello and How Doo, I have been watching your vids on RUclips since you started playing FFX and they have been really enjoyable to watch 😊 Uncharted was the first game I played back to when the PS3 came out and I am still in love with it to this day. Glad and happy you are too.
I had a few issues with U3, minor things like they refined the gameplay so perfectly in U2 & then tinkered with it unnecessarily in U3 but overall still loved U3 & it has some of the most thrilling set pieces of the series.
Time for Uncharted 3!😁 First of all you finally saw the whole story of how Nate and Sully first met each other long ago in Columbia when Nate was just 15 yrs old and how he got that ring in the first place. Anyway they really had you fooled with that shooting them stunt they pulled on miss evil lady didn't they?😏😂
2:15 Nice visual metaphor there. Putting Nathan and Sully "behind the 8-ball" right from the start. A phrase that means that they're in a bad spot or uncomfortable position.
1:27:42 me hoping this section isn’t secretly time limited, like that one scene in Hank’s house in Detroit Become Human. One RUclipsr spent the entire time reading the magazine and giving an in-depth analysis of the article, only for the time to run out without exploring and learning that one vital clue😢
Uncharted 3 gets a lot of undue flack. In my opinion, it’s one of the best! I’d rank it right under 4 as my second favorite of the series 🙂↕️ Excited to tag along with you on this journey, Julia!
I always find it fascinating if a game developer includes the real world restriction of not being allowed to carry guns in some countries. It does force you to change the mechanics up a bit, which detracts from the game, so I understand why they don't. No way Nathan and Sully would be allowed to openly wear a gun in a holster in France, London, or many other locations. This is why the single gunshot in London at the start was so important. There is really no gun culture, so any shots are instantly reported to the Police, and the armed response unit is deployed ASAP.
I need to play this, so I can play 4, so I can see if my brother's statement of 4 being "Naughty Dog's magnum opus" is true or not. I still say Uncharted 2 is, but I can't speak on 3 or 4 until I play them. Good luck with this one! Glad you enjoyed 2. Crazy experience isn't it?
Uncharted 3 I think was made by the B team since the A team was making Last of Us, so a lot of people think Uncharted 3 feels the “least” uncharted but I heavily disagree. While I still prefer 2 and 4 over it, I definetly like it more than 1. But they are all 10/10 games.
This game has the greatest cinematic action out of all of them! Just my opinion. I love all of them though lol. But the music in this game is some of the most epic action music you'll ever hear!
It begins. 🫡 I hope you love it. Not the best entry in the series, many people hate a specific sequence (I don't), but I love how the game adds depth to Drake and how he started down his path.
Easily the most fun intro of the entire series
Even more than uncharted 4…..

@@stonecoldku4161 yeah I want to rewatch to see that, now that I know!
After the reveal, I went back and rewatched it 🙂
Uncharted humor is top tier

She needs to watch the Nathan Fillion short film at some point 👌
After she finishes this game. I believe it takes place between 3 and 4.
Yes! My favorite one! Everyone talks about 2 and 4 but this is one of the best written games I've ever played. Enjoy!

@@Windupchronic that is fair. I just never mind not getting anywhere because it is the most fun part of the game. But you're right.

Loving these playthroughs. Experiencing the games again through you is so entertaining.
Also damn there's a lot of bald guys in England huh.
That backstory bit was really fun, I hope we see more of that… “Why do i feel like I wanna cry?” Same!
Wasn’t expecting Nate to go 007, this is going to be so fun watching you play Julia

Jason Statham needs to play Cutter in the next Uncharted movie! That would just be: sooo Uncharted
My favorite one outta the whole series I could replay this game one hundred times
Yay more Uncharted. I don't know why, but for some reason they decided to make that one machinegun twice as LOUD as every other weapon hahaha
This game was released in 3D and is even more gorgeous on a 3D television.

Can wait to relax at your gameplay ❤❤❤
Uncharted 3 is my favorite uncharted game in the uncharted franchise
I had a few issues with U3, minor things like they refined the gameplay so perfectly in U2 & then tinkered with it unnecessarily in U3 but overall still loved U3 & it has some of the most thrilling set pieces of the series.
Aah yes the Uncharted 3 intro. Who doesn't love a good old pub brawl. Katharine Marlowe has got to be modelled on Helen Mirren, it is too uncanny.
omg, that’s why she looks so familiar!!!
Time for Uncharted 3!😁

Your cruising thru them awesome games and awesome streams
Best opening ❤ freaking love this game.
1:07:50 - The Strange Relic is a Precursor Orb from the Jak and Daxter series and rewards you a trophy for finding it in the first three games.
Julianne Moore back with more Uncharted
she's indeed! glad im not the only one noticing the uncanny resemblance
(Lord) Macduff is a character in the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare
I like how they had “LONDON” on the manhole cover, as if it wasn’t obvious 😂
The light puzzle in the old house took me so long to figure out the first time I played it
2:15 Nice visual metaphor there. Putting Nathan and Sully "behind the 8-ball" right from the start. A phrase that means that they're in a bad spot or uncomfortable position.
This sequel is about Nate & Sully's relationship: Their like Father & Son
uncharted 3 definitely has the best soundtrack.
ABSOLUTE GAMING 🙌

Julia-t great job making video ❤!
I've been watching your mass effect series. And l thought you looked good then but now you look amazing. Wow 😲
She’s a young Julianne Moore
This game pushed the PS3 hardware to its limit back in the day.

Just passing by but when you said Tom Holland kinda looks like Nathan Drake i think Scott Eastwood would have made a Great Drake 🤗🙂
I dont think I ever used the melee controls outside of the intro 😂
Yeah you got to wait for the notification sound and journal prompt before it's added to the journal
Please play the rest of the Bioshock series 🙏
2:22 I will accuse you with Leon 🤨

Yeah uncharted is only on playstation sony owns the rights to uncharted therefore only available on their platform's
The shooting is the worse part about this game, its different from the first 2 and they changed it back in the last 2 games
I’m surprised you never played last of us 2
She played it when it first came out and it used to be on here.
It begins. 🫡 I hope you love it. Not the best entry in the series, many people hate a specific sequence (I don't), but I love how the game adds depth to Drake and how he started down his path.
This game easily has the most fun intro of the series
Nothing beats the intro to Uncharted 2. But this is definitely one of the best intros.
