Hey guys! Its another year but It looks like the same exact advent calendar??? Or at least close to it! I was ready to be disappointed but at least by different products than I was last year! Sephora, being a major company with a huge amount of capital that makes their own products that go in the box, has no excuse for selling a calendar that is this bad. To me it seems like they care more about the profit than the quality of what they are selling. Its been that way for three years and I don’t see it changing anytime soon but hey…at least its fun to open! Let me know what you guys think! Love ya 💖

This is exactly their target audience. People who don't know much about makeup but want to get something for someone who is into makeup. The type of people who won't know they're getting ripped off and probably won't look at the reviews too much. Also those that get it will probably tell the ones who bought it that they like it to be polite. And that's why they don't put any effort into improving it. Why spend time and money making a better calendar when they can get more profit with less effort?
the packaging is so huge and colorful too. It would really fool someone into thinking it's a large, nice gift.

And you'd have like $12.25 in change. Minimum.
And especially when you consider this is all Sephora brand stuff that the manufacturer for literally pennies in the case of the bobble, mirror, Emory board and hair claw things, probably $.25 in the case of the body wash samples, polish removal wipes and star bombs, where the packaging is more expensive than the contents, maybe $.50 for the sheet masks, hydrator, and pencil liner, and possibly a very generous $1.00 for the liquid mask, cleansing water, the lip glosses, the eyeshadows, the nail lacquers and the liquid lipstick considering they're all house made..
The grand total with those numbers $12.75. Leaving you $12.25 that you can currently add $7.75 to and go to Target, use a coupon and get $30 worth of Beauty & Personal Care products for only $20.
And your Target Beauty haul will be BOMB compared to this atrocious "advent calendar".
