SPYAIR has sooooooo many amazing songs. Ike's voice is incredible and there's no way you wouldn't enjoy listening it. Even if I like this more playful version of "Some Like it Hot". I think the original show his powerful vocals way better. You should also check Genjyou Destruction and Sakura Mitsu Tsuki. The way he play with his voice in both songs... definitely my favorites from them.

My ultimate recommendations are definitely Kitamura Takumi from DISH// singing "Neko" (Cat) which was written by another Japanese singer-songwriter called Aimyon. That song dominated Japan's charts after being popularized from The first take. I also recommend haruwotsugeru by yama. Her identity is unknown. Wasurena by Awesome CIty Club is also a must!

This song will always have a special place in my heart. ღ First, it was the song that introduced me to SPYAIR, quite possibly my favorite J-Rock band in Japan with one of the best singers in the business. Second, it was the song that convinced me to revisit the anime it originates from (Gintama), which I'd had a long on and off relationship with because of it's very unique format and my lack of understanding at the time. And you know what? I have no regrets. I honestly believe that SPYAIR and Gintama are one of the many beautiful "soulmates" who were destined to find each other, because they are both (as you said for Ike's style of singing) great storytellers that resonate so perfectly with each other. And it's not just this song either, SPYAIR contributed a total of 6 original songs to this series in both the anime and 2 feature films; with not one of those songs ever losing a beat in quality or emotional elevation. (I would recommend checking out the original songs whenever you can; maybe even react on the channel.) I sincerely hope Ike intends to perform the entire anthology of work he'd done for Gintama as part of his "First Take" series in the future (as well as in a live concert), because it is definitely an experience everyone shouldn't miss. Even if people may never invest in the anime (which is often unfortunate because of how funny, powerful, and beautiful it truly is), even just listening to one of SPYAIR's songs will give you a piece of this series vast "soul."

I have quite the suggestion as the artist in question has quite the history. It's a First Take performance: ReoNA - Niji No Kanatani. - A little about ReoNA herself, she was originally here on RUclips doing Vocal Covers. She participated in an audition held by Sacra Music, she was one of the finalists at the age of 19 (this happened in 2017). - From here her career literally skyrocketed into the atmosphere, she went on to provide the singing voice to a major character in Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online "Elza Kanazaki". A mini album was produced for the show's character and her music was featured throughout this limited series. From here she went on to have her music featured in Sword Art Online proper as both OP and EDs. Eventually she was featured on the Sword Art Online 10th Anniversary song "Till The End". - From humble beginnings to having massive features on one of the biggest animes in Japan, her story is one that is rarely told or mentioned, and surprisingly her First Take performances are even more rarely reacted to. I could think of dozens of artists that have far more recognition that she does but it's honestly one of those incredible stories that someone so young that started here on RUclips not only made it, but gained such critical success in an industry that is rife with competition.
