Getting to work in a nice clean shop where you can actually open up a car door or walk to a tool box with out have to wade through a see of trash is probably a treat in itself self as opposed to Rust Bros. Not to mention as bad as that car might have been it’s was still 100 times nicer the garbage Mike’s had had him work on.

It’s just so cool that you guys saved that car from impending obscurity. But it definitely takes the eyes and minds of master fabricators to see the physics of undoing that type of damage. The proper tools help too…

My 68’ chevelle ( org 307 car) had factory 3/8” steel fuel line, I just replaced it with pre bent stainless a couple weeks ago in fact. Nasty job on jack stands with body on. Was like wrestling a big alligator for too long 😂. Had to re-route in the rear and add a fuel filter but I had no choice. I knew there was going to be trouble when I couldn’t even get the old line out in one piece.

Not sure if the older camaros are anything like the 70s/80s. They have serial number hidden inside the firewall were the heater fan goes in. If you use a mirrorto read it from the inside. Learned tis from Kevin t. from his u tube channel called "paintucation". He has a video on this. He is also a former BC canadian. Now lives in tenesee.

GM of Canada wouldn't have any information because the car was bought in the United States. From what I remember, GM Canada has historical records. GM in the United States doesn't because their records were destroyed. Take care. Roland

JF, This would be a shame if you didn't paint it. Before engine, suspension and interior, please paint the car. Primer and paint will prevent this clean shell from rusting. Not a riddler finish, pick a nice red Add a vinyl top (black). A black interior and a small block chevy engine (327). What do you think ? Roland It's one thing to build a car for $5,000 , you have to be able to afford the gas too. No big block.

V8 cars have a 3/8 fuel line but in 68 it was hard to tell what V8. Trim tag on 68 only told sequence build, paint and trim codes and build date. 67 and 9 would tell you what it was with codes. 69 x codes for Norwood built cars. Trans cross member, engine mounts and firewall penetration for speedo cable will help with research. I forget your in Canada so you can go through GM historical and I think you can get what you need from them
