Thanks for the the analysis and comments. I already own a position and will add more. A question: Karp is proud of his his excellent "Rule of 40 Score of 57. As I understand that rule is a more accurate measurement of performance and is the sum of the growth rate plus the adjusted gross margins. In PLTR's case, a 21 % annual growth rate, plus an adjusted gross margin of 36%. The question is, isn't the operative gross margin 86%? So that the adjust gross margin comes after the "stock based compensation" is subtracted as an expense? If so, it would seem that the net profit numbers can be flexible depending on the desires of the company, They could take no or less "stock based compensation" if they wanted to goose the earnings and earnings per share. Is my understanding correct?
Unless accounting rules changed companies have an option to declare booked value as revenue as long as the practice is consistent. Are you saying Palantir recognizes point of sale as revenue?
Love your Palantir videos Parkev, thank you! It seems that Palantir stock moves less of the immediate news and lags so a 5% hold swing without big contract news?!
I really like the information, adding more to my existing position. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
I really think having different SKUs for smaller businesses to buy Palantir at a lower price would make this stock go way up.
