ive listened to this song more times than i can count, every time i do i still find myself humming to it and enjoying every second. This song is truly a mastery of video game music, one of the greatest video game songs ive ever heard. the amount of motifs this song has could give an undertale song a run for its money, and they dont feel forced in, they work so smoothly together, and the best part is it fits in with the theme of the floor. i cant get this song out of my head and honestly i dont want to. phenomenal work, mudeth!
Mudeth, you have gifted us with a perfect soundtrack from antibirth and to me,you have been an inspiration ever since, I was really excited when you released the vol.3 and this track is a testament to how much love you have put into this, can't give enough praise and can't get enough of your music and the emotional charge it carries, keep rocking!🤘
one thing I really like about this song: it does NOT give you a break. every time you think it's calming down it starts right the fuck back up, and I think that's neat
"Isaac, I'll be honest. I'm not sure that either of us are real anymore. But... There is something. You can feel it too, don't you? This is the end. Something that brings all parts of your journey together, mixing it into this... place around us. We'll have to face it. *Together.* And whatever happens after... I will always believe in you, no matter how much apart we will be. Now let's go. We will not let this monster corrupt you like it did her. We will be free, one way or another." - ??? --//-- Also, this is literally the best track in the OST. It combines so much good themes, layering them with it's own leitmotif that clearly says "Your journey will end here".
I'll be using this for one of my D&D campaigns, where the players enter an alternate dimension where they failed to take down the BBEG, who then subsequently turned the entire world into their own blood vessels which ate gods and, because of the Ichor now flowing in their veins, practically turned them into a god. World's still "the same", except now it's just a bunch of blood vessels and monsters made of blood vessels. It's as crazy as it sounds, yes.
This was so worth waiting for, Dan and Ridiculoun did great work on Isaac OST but this is just better and I can't see myself going back to vanilla one. Can't wait to see how you will finish OST for remaining floors. \m/

i know the mod you're talking about and you should toggle a setting in the mod configs called "allnoise starts at random points" (or something along those lines idk its been a while). it doesn't fix the issue but it basically causes the song to skip to random segments when you change rooms instead of repeating the intro. ironically it actually makes it even more thematically appropriate in my opinion
I usually listen to this... It fits with my mood sometimes when i feel nostalgic. God i wish i had played tboi and antibirth when it came out. I would have really enjoyed your soundtrack when I was happy...
music can go a long way for music, and after installing a mod which puts your music in the game, I can gladly say it perfectly captures the dark undertones of a child literally facing dark realities from which no human should dare to face. I love your music and your work, absolute legend.
Been part of playing this game since maybe mid to late 2017, and I mostly played rebirth at the time. I played afterbirth+ here and there later on, and it wasn’t until last year that I played Antibirth. And man, oh man, was I missing out. The music Ridiculon composed made the game stand out to me, a sort of genre that a child wouldn’t really like because it’s too moody or expressive, but it fits Isaac’s scenario perfectly because he’s witnessed things no child should witness and his imagination has captivated him in a place of nightmares. Hearing your remakes was subliminal, and it was so clear that the same tone and mood for each floor had been nailed with different techniques and instruments. This piece right here is no exception. Terminus uses multiple tracks throughout the game as the melody and this track does the exact same, with extra spice and variety to make it so broad and unpredictable when you first hear it that it’s accurate to the floor. Keep rockin’ on, Mudeth, your style is nothing short of influential and incredible :)
Ive been loving your soundtracks ever since antibirth came out, and i thought that The Thief would go down as the best, but youve managed to top it, i love this theme and all the others in Vol 3, excited to hear what you make in the future

A void portal finally dropped and I finally got to hear this in game! And that run alone has made this song one of my favorites It surprisingly fits the void very well... that mix of epic, and the combination of past floor's soundtracks makes it feel special and important.. like what the void floor was supposed to be - an amalgamation of past events, but not quite, everything's a mess and jumbled together, like Isaac's mind while he's helplessly suffovating in a chest. This is incredibly good you madman.
HEY don't judge my sanity it's perfectly borderline
@@mudeth is it delirium?
Innocence glitched, machine in the walls, the thief, forggoten lullaby, The hammer of pompeii, fault lines, Descent, thats what I can detect so far
I still can't belive this fucking madman managed to reference shadowdance's chaka chakas
I love how much this song hypes you up for the delirium fight. I'm genuinely amazed this game has a better fanmade soundtrack than the official one
ive listened to this song more times than i can count, every time i do i still find myself humming to it and enjoying every second. This song is truly a mastery of video game music, one of the greatest video game songs ive ever heard. the amount of motifs this song has could give an undertale song a run for its money, and they dont feel forced in, they work so smoothly together, and the best part is it fits in with the theme of the floor. i cant get this song out of my head and honestly i dont want to. phenomenal work, mudeth!
currently the best soundtrack
Mudeth, you have gifted us with a perfect soundtrack from antibirth and to me,you have been an inspiration ever since, I was really excited when you released the vol.3 and this track is a testament to how much love you have put into this, can't give enough praise and can't get enough of your music and the emotional charge it carries, keep rocking!🤘
one thing I really like about this song: it does NOT give you a break. every time you think it's calming down it starts right the fuck back up, and I think that's neat
This kinda gives me everywhere at the end of time vibes. I like it
"Isaac, I'll be honest.
We will be free, one way or another."

Also, this is literally the best track in the OST.
It's as crazy as it sounds, yes.
this fits the theme of isaac's mind collapsing on itself before he dies more than terminus did ngl
this theme just adds to the whole vibe The Void gives off, amazing job on the Antibirth OST, man!
This was so worth waiting for, Dan and Ridiculoun did great work on Isaac OST but this is just better and I can't see myself going back to vanilla one. Can't wait to see how you will finish OST for remaining floors. \m/
I can't thank you enough for the amazing work you've done! Love the soundtrack and I'm so happy I can play with my favourite antibirth tracks again, and even get some new favorites!
I’m surprised that there aren’t many remixes of this, at the same time, nothing can be done to make this better.
I have this first in my playlist because i randomize after listening to this one. And each one is so tonely different this feels like it makes thematic sense
Mudeth... I just want to say that as an artist all of your music is really really REALLY inspiring and it wants me to get more creative with my own music. Keep up the great work, really love your stuff!!!
Thank you very much!
This is a BEST song from Isaac ever.
it's a BIG shame that, for whatever reason, this track specifically is bugged and just starts over when i enter a new room
this song is insanely good and fits with the chaos of the void but now the intro has just been burnt into my skull from all of my void trips
I think different mods handle it differently, try other ones out?
@@mudeth It's a mod that creates a conflict called Music Mod Callback that does it.
@@PaneledPear this is one of the reasons why I replaced Antibirth music++ with the +++ version. The other one being the ++ version not having any updates since January.
i know the mod you're talking about and you should toggle a setting in the mod configs called "allnoise starts at random points" (or something along those lines idk its been a while). it doesn't fix the issue but it basically causes the song to skip to random segments when you change rooms instead of repeating the intro. ironically it actually makes it even more thematically appropriate in my opinion
I usually listen to this... It fits with my mood sometimes when i feel nostalgic. God i wish i had played tboi and antibirth when it came out. I would have really enjoyed your soundtrack when I was happy...
Antibirth Volume 3 is finally here and DAMN it does not disappoint! This is everything I hoped it would be! Eagerly awaiting the mod!
There is a mod
Okay this one is pure gold
WHY THE FUCK DOES THIS GO SO HARD HOLY SHIT
this has to be in my top 3 favourite game osts of all time i stg
music can go a long way for music, and after installing a mod which puts your music in the game, I can gladly say it perfectly captures the dark undertones of a child literally facing dark realities from which no human should dare to face.
I love your music and your work, absolute legend.
Thank you very much :)
Man Mudeth, I can't listen to this song because everytime I do it makes me cry. You're a real genius.
Thanks. Hope you're doing okay.
@@mudeth I am,thank you for asking. Happy Holidays Mudeth!
happy holidays again!@@mudeth
The all-in-one I needed
That Forgotten Lullaby part seems like it could be good for secret room found with the Red Key. 🤔
Thank you, that's very cool to hear :)
I can’t wait to see what you have in mind for the new Repentance tracks once you get a feel for em man, no matter how long that takes
When you pop a Reverse Amnesia pill
Ive been loving your soundtracks ever since antibirth came out, and i thought that The Thief would go down as the best, but youve managed to top it, i love this theme and all the others in Vol 3, excited to hear what you make in the future
One year later, this is still stuck in my head.
Words can't describe how amazed and disturbed I was when I heard this in game for the first time, especially the distorted forgotten lullaby. Really hit the nail on the head with this one!
God, I hope they improve The Void with that future update they announced so it fits this level of epicness, it's current state is too lacking for this level of grandiosity, holy shit
Banger! Such an Epic Mashup from all the difrent floors and room sounftracks! With this track I really get this feeling of walking through the Void with all this random changing floor designs.
Just how it should be, Love it ♥:D
Especially the Machine in the Walls part gives me goosebumps everytime :D
When the motif from The Thief played I came HARD.
🤨
I did not expect this whatsoever but sweet lord this made my day so much better! I hope you keep making more amazing tracks!
I just booted up the game for the first time in ages and heard the new music. Wasn't expecting it, and I had to pause to soak in this sick-ass track. GOOOOD WORK!!
Jesus!!! Its really intensive i love it! is a full mix of every theme is truly awesome
If this doesn’t scream finale vibes I don’t know what does
A void portal finally dropped and I finally got to hear this in game! And that run alone has made this song one of my favorites
It surprisingly fits the void very well... that mix of epic, and the combination of past floor's soundtracks makes it feel special and important.. like what the void floor was supposed to be - an amalgamation of past events, but not quite, everything's a mess and jumbled together, like Isaac's mind while he's helplessly suffovating in a chest. A finale.
Very good job! Absolutely loved it.
Also can I mention how amazing the innocence glitched part sounds in this? God my ears couldn't feel better rn
2:34 Does anyone know the reference to this chorus? It sounds orgasmic.
It’s “The Thief”, the theme for the Cathedral
