I was thinking Marin has nice gravel bikes but i would have never guessed since i've seen people ride them. I own a giant road bike which i haven't ridden in 8 months due to frequent punctures every couple rides.

I bought a Rift Zone online directly from Marin a months ago. It arrived at my local dealer with a bad fork. The response from Marin was to contact Fox to deal with this issue. I was surprised by this response. It wasn’t like a got the bike from the shop and then the fork went bad. Marin delivered a bike with a defective fork, which the dealer duly noted and notified. Of course I won’t take delivery of a defective bike. I contacted Marin twice and after 3 weeks I got a response from someone saying that they were sorry about what had occurred and that they would forward the matter to another person. As of today, I haven’t heard back from Marin. Eventually Fox changed the lowers on the fork and a month after Marin had my money, I got the bike from my dealer. Kudos to the people at my local bike shop for putting up with my rants about the defective bike but two big thumbs down for Marin. Their customer service simply does not exist. With the crisis that the bike industry is undergoing at this time, the least you would expect from a manufacturer is great customer service to attract more customers. I love my Rift Zone but I would most likely never buy another bike from Marin after this horrible experience. Glad but sad yo know I’m not the only one.

I don't think it's a problem at all! I have the same DSX and I've been having the same issue. The solution for a braking spoke is to not straighten the wheel perfectly. With a crooked wheel, I can drive thousands of kilometres without any issues. After straightening the spoke, it explodes after 1,000 kilometres.
