That really sucks. Riding bikes in traffic is very dangerous, especially at the speeds that this guy is capable of.

You think of all the dangers racers face while actually racing, and then for something like this to happen! Hoping Remco makes a speedy recovery, in time to be back in the pro peloton in the spring. I was an amateur racer for over 25 years, and I'm so thankful the worst injury I ever suffered, besides road rash, was a severely sprained wrist.

Bummer! Evenepoel is a pretty tough and brave dude! Hopefully his legs are AOK and hopefully he can recover in time for next season!
