Hello Rick and welcome to Voice of Baceprot! This was 2021, so they were 21/21/20 at the time. Their bass player, Widi, is strikingly creative and fills the three-piece role of "lead" bassist perfectly. They prefer the raw (and honest) side of music, with lots of distortion, minimal effects, and strong lyrics centered around social critiques. Their original influences were RATM, SOAD , and RHCP. They are unique in their ability to maintain their identity as Muslim women, while still rocking hard and shouting loud to fight for human rights for all people!
They are from Indonesia. Most of their songs are about tolerance and rejection of radical islam. Listening to music is forbidden in radical islam, let alone playing it. It takes a lot of guts to do what they are doing, even if Indonesia is a relatively moderate islamic country.
V.O.B (Voice of Baceprot) - would like to be known for their Genre's as - HIP METAL FUNKY - incorporate their various influences, Vocalist Guitarist love Hip Hop rapping singing style, drummer love metal and bass player love funky. And their music are ranging from rock, rap-rock, and funk rock to nu-metal and funk metal, mixed meshing them into a unique style of rock music a.k.a - V.O.B MUSIC.
Not a Metallica fan but love their version of this song. Remember they're doing this as a three-piece. May God protect these incredible lovely young musicians.

You should do their own material have many amazing songs I am personally sick of this cover myself and any band that covers this song it has gotten very old and boring. Pick and song from their recent album, their only full album Retas it is phenomenal
agree, but doing covers is one of the ways to put the band name 'out there'. Now that more people have gotten to know them, their original songs started to be noticed more. I personally like their originals, Kentut Merdeka, which is not released.
