Can someone tell him there is something called description?😂
I had a flashback to Halo: Reach...
Hi Alex!!!
"Bulgaria stayed neutral right?" actual Serbia in 1915
Fahvkts
*snort laugh*
Did the Serbian Government never consider Bulgaria could very well have their opportunity to avenge their defeat and reclaim Macedonia? I know this is just a game, but wasn't there any real backup plan in the case of Bulgarian intervention?
@@talesferreiralimadossantos8806While the Serbian govt. did consider that Bulgaria could join the war there was nothing they could realistically do about it they knew that if war started their entire army would be needed to hold Austria-Hungary. They were also hoping that Russia wouldn’t have been beaten back so quickly like at Tannenburg. As long as Russia remained on the offensive against Austria and Germany, they hailed it would be enough to keep Bulgaria at bay. Of course, when the Germans beat back the Russians at Tannenburg and as attrition was devastating the Serbian army, the Bulgarians took the chance to defeat Serbia as they knew no help could come to Serbia’s aid.
@@talesferreiralimadossantos8806 And yo add up what was previously said, they did the most reasonable option, retreat through Albania
Serbia tree creator here. Thank you for playing my tree and hope you enjoyed it. It brings me joy to see other people enjoy my content, hope you like the mod and stay tuned for more :)

"Serbia is pure pain!", yes it is Alex, yes.it.is. Greetings from Serbia though.
"They got us surrounded! What do we do?"
" Fight"
Ayyy a fellow WW1 Great War Redux uploader ;) I've actually never played it much before and I'm really enjoying it so far!
This is like the underdog sequel to Rocky - except with tanks and less Sylvester Stallone. Can we get a 'Yo, Adrian!' for the Balkans?
There are cool events after the war's been concluded too :) especially as Serbia, I imagine you should be able to form Yugoslavia?
I haven't played the mod, but I guess that depends on the previous decisions and how the war ends. From what I have seen in the video, he ends up exactly as Serbia did post-war. Very fast after the war, the State of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (the light blue part to the west of Serbia) joined up with Serbia, as well as Montenegro, and that is what formed the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, or as it is known from 1929, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. But I guess he didn't take the correct decisions previously, or he simply did not play it for an extra few months to actually form it.
Alex going through all the events that changed the Serbian government should show him exactly why literally EVERYBODY since Bismarck said that any European war would be caused by the Balkans
,,Serbia is pure pain" as Serb from Serb entity Republika Srpska(Serb Republic) in Bosnia, i must say, thanks for remembering Alex!
Dude, how's the relationship between serbs and bosnians in Bosnia currently? The war happened more than 30 years ago, but I imagine some scars are still left, I imagine...
@@talesferreiralimadossantos8806 Far bigger issue is the political conflict regarding the future of Republika Srpska. That issue aside, the relations between Serbs and Bosniaks are relatively cordial, certainly far less toxic than between Serbs and Croats or Serbs and Albanians.
You're welcome for the fart
There no stopping the Rambler
There's no rumbling the Rambler.
I love the ww1 mods, Nice to see an new video Alex!
Changed leader more times than the Conservative Party
I think Alex likes this mod...
Really though, this mod is up there with KR for quality.
Serbs and Russians.
🐺🐺🐺🐻🐻🐻
Truly, we Serbs are connected with many nations and intertwined in many histories and destinies. There are few places in Europe where we haven't contributed and where we haven't seasoned the atmosphere and infused a bit of our soul. Mostly in great Russia. But, that's not taught in schools. It's not taught systematically and intentionally. Not there, and especially not here among us. It's not taught because we've been overshadowed by the darkness of leftist internationalism, which ruled here and there. That's why few know that a Serb from Prizren actually introduced a new Russian writing style. His name was Pahomije Logote. He lived in Novgorod in the 15th century and in nearly 50 years of his life, he wrote a true library. More than all contemporaries in Russia combined. Perhaps someone knows that the First Russian Tsar, Ivan the Terrible (Grozni), who truly made Russia a world power (not just spiritually but also physically), barely survived constant attempts by the Boyars to kill him as a child, and he was saved by his grandmother, Ana Glinksy Yakshich, a Serb, who raised and educated him. That's why the first Russian Tsar, Ivan the Terrible (whose nickname we misinterpret here so wrongly and maliciously), had as his idols Saint Sava, Stefan Nemanja, and Lazar Hrebeljanovic. Ivan the Terrible was on one side a descendant of the Rurik dynasty and the Byzantine Palaiologos dynasty, and several Serbian despot families, Dejanovic, Nemanjic, and Yakshic. How many people truly know that the Black Sea Russian fleet was founded by a Serb, Marko Vojinovic? Almost no one outside of the profession has heard that a Serb created the Russian school system and wrote the first law on education in Russia. His name was Teodor Jankovic Mirijevski. That at the Battle of Borodino at least 14 Russian generals, who were Serbs, participated. That one of them, Djordje Arsenijevic Emanuel, in 1814 introduced the Russian army into Paris, together with the Russian Tsar Alexander. Two years earlier, the French had taken two hundred ox-drawn carts filled with gold from burned Moscow. In return, the Russian Tsar Alexander prohibited any stone to be lifted in Paris and ordered that no Frenchman be humiliated or insulted in any way, so he built the most beautiful bridge over the Seine today, which is called the Alexander Bridge. The Russians also left behind the famous Bistro, which in Paris has become a name for small cafes. The Bolsheviks, 104 years later, pulled Djordje Arsenijevic out of his grave with some other Russian generals and shot his bones. Let it be known that the Russians and the Soviets are not the same. Does anyone know today that after Nikola Tesla, the greatest Serbian inventor Ognjeslav Kostovic invented the flying boat and named it the Russian Dirigible? Twenty years later, that Swabian came into possession of his scripts and invented the Zeppelin. How many of us know that the Kremlin public clock, the first public clock in the world, two hundred years older than the first public Swiss clock, was constructed by a Serb named Lazar Srbin Hilandarac and that the Kremlin was built by Serbs. Probably someone already knows that a Serb, Count Sava Vladislavic, was a special envoy of Tsar Peter the Great and founded the Russian secret service. On one journey, he redeemed an Ethiopian boy, Ibrahim Solomon, from slavery, who became a page at the court. And that Ethiopian boy was actually Pushkin's direct ancestor. The same Count Sava, later during the time of Catherine the Great, established the border between China and Russia, founded a city on the border, and built the first Orthodox Church in China. Few people know that the lion-like warrior, handsome and seducer, Serb and Russian general, Simeon Zoric challenged even Potemkin to a duel, which Potemkin wisely declined, and Empress Catherine quietly hushed up. Zoric was an inspiration for a character in The Pickled Lady. And in Russia, a whole series of Serbian intellectuals, members of the Serbian, and at the same time real natural world elite, were educated. It's unknown to most that the Serbian Count Miloradovic raised Serbs, dissatisfied with treatment in Austria, and left with a large number of Serbs to Russia, where Serbs received a state and named it Novoserbia and Slavyanosibirsk, and that there, with the local population, they founded the city of Slavyansk. And what they gave us could fill a book. And another one could be written about what they offered us, but we didn't want or dared to take.

Great video, as always
I turned the cracked hoi4 that I got into a map of the great war redux, the war for Libya, the balkan wars and ww1
I've wanted to play Serbia but said no because of my skill issue. Glad to see Alex playing it for me.

BRO HAS POSTED
They've had a focus tree for years...

I love playing minor powers and trying to last against the major nations. My greatest attempt was playing as Estonia I went democratic and joined the allies, The soviets sent their ultimatum, I spent four years sitting on a fort line slaughtering soviets as they went full on retarded gorilla mode and kept trying to smash through a line of level five forts. ended up getting naval invaded from behind and capped but not before somehow managing to do 4 million casualties on my own by just sitting still and letting the ai retard it out against my forts. They are a lot less willing to attack forlines these days though, I'm glad that updates to the game have gradually made the ai slightly more competent. Next I plan on doing a Denmark playthrough and holding back the germans. I did it once before already before AAT was a thing, cant wait to attempt it now that Denmark has a legitimate focus tree.

Hi Matt
Recommendation for a mod here. I know you’ve played the heart of Minecraft mod before but it’s been updated recently adding two new nations both with unique focus trees if you’re looking for a mod to return too.
i just love the seriousness and dedication the hoi4 community puts into ridiculous things like a Minecraft themed mod😂😂

yeah just noticed… been seeing this shit on music video comments too
From the look of it I suspect they are bot accounts trying to get around RUclips's automated anti-bot algorithm by posting what looks like normal comments before they start spamming what they are made for.
Macedonia never dies. Just like PIREJ it'll always make new children of God to protect and proclaim the Macedonian ideal and the Macedonian country. As it has had tons of hundreds of famous people in history. Alexander the great is Macedonian, king SAMOIL, Cyril and metodij who made the second now commonly known as Slavic language even tho it existed in the time of Alexander, also goce delcev a very well known revolutionary in the balkans and a lot of other heroes. 🇲🇰☦️ VEP
