Great colors! If you’ve ever played Brouwers “ cuban landscapes with rain“ you’d understand some of the textures and how cool this piece really is. I can’t believe some schmo said that this piece is boring. It does show that he is boring and he can’t pay attention long enough to see what happens and see the story is being unfolded here by this great virtuoso. Thanks GSI and Jiji!!

@@alfonso8492 buenas tardes, mucho del repertorio de Brouwer no es tonal sino vanguardista, explorando técnicas poco comunes, y con un lenguaje más gestual, articulado, minimalista, más colorido timbricamente, sus ideas musicales poco tienen que ver con una melodía "agradable o pegajosa", es por eso que entre la audiencia es poco entendible y valorizable la obra de Brouwer, debo decir que por lo mismo me reservo de tocar su obra, pero también hay joyas como su Suite 2, sus estudios (las obras breves son más fáciles de entender), un día de noviembre, la gran sarabanda, arreglos de música japonesa... Es un reto interpretar correctamente las obras de este compositor. Por algo tiene mérito.

cadito1960 ah amigo, não quero entrar em discussão aqui sobre o que é ou não é música... mas saiba q o brouwer é um dos compositores mais respeitados dos últimos tempos e um grande nome (talvez o único) da música clássica contemporânea latino-americana
