Thelma & Louise Deleted Scene - How You Expect Me To Know (1991) Susan Sarandon Movie HD
An Arkansas waitress and a housewife shoot a rapist and take off in a '66 Thunderbird.
I only saw this scene recently this is definatetly the one scene that SHOULDNT have been deleted. You can understand Jimmy and Louise relationship so much more with this scene
Saw this film for the first time yesterday. And it had this entire sequence.
I have just watched this scene on the Blu-ray extras. It should have been included in its entirety. It provides a more in-depth understanding of the relationship between Louise and Jimmy. The "emergency ring" idea was the real reason why she rejected his proposition. Also, there is another scene with Jimmy in the police station that was cut out entirely. Jimmy was an interesting character, but the final cut didn't leave much room for the audience to really appreciate him.

Good points.
I totally agree with you. It also gave more insight into how Louise's life had made her the person she is. Insightful dialogue.
The real reason was that she's an out law on the run. Puting that scene would add too much unnecesarry drama. At this point Louise knows that no matter what she'll have to leave him so why add salt to his wounds?
Susan Sarandon, oh my god, she is lovely.
i was so late to this Movie l: I just saw it like a year ago and cried at the ending. it may be a little strange taste but This is definetley one of my favorites, now...It makes me blubber like a baby and think of life...
Plz tell me on which platform i can watch this movie for free
It's an awesome movie by far.... I just need that ride or die female friend lol.
@@nidhigupta4463 Amazon Prime.
The only man in this movie that had any decency and respect for them was the cop . The others were bullies, or con artists .
@bob smith Jimmy turned Louise in to the FBI (remember the tiny moment when Harvey Keitel and Ned from Groundhog Day stop him outside his apartment?). So he wasn't a bully or a con artist, but when the chips were down, he sold Louise out. Heartbreakingly.

But Louise wanted him to tell everything he knew. This is why she didn't tell him what happened and what she was going to do. This way she wanted to protect Jimmy, to make sure he wouldn't prosecuted for helping criminals instead of calling police. Otherwise perhaps he wouldn't say anything but could go to the jail.
Jimmy sang like a canary to the cops.
@@aap2310 Did he?
Maybe or he just seemed nice because he wanted them to turn themselves in. They would rather die than go to jail for murder and armed robbery though victims of circumstance.
I don't know why she gave all the money to Thelma,. she knew how irresponsible she was,.
Thanks for sharing.
I know right, if I was carrying that much cash, I'd keep it on my person. Considering Thelma got them in to this mess, you'd think Louis would know better. I've just watched this movie in it's entirety last night. Before and after the money is stolen Louis has several moments where you can read her thoughts about Thelma and that thought is God how can my best friend be SUCH a stupid Ass.
@@redmr2na yep I know she would screw up rented this movie back in 2007
But then it gave Thelma the chance to really grow and change and she became the strong one.
@@redmr2na "Thelma got them into this mess"? How so??
I don't get that part
The ending...
they kissed and he's like
"That was nice."
And i'm like awwwww
Terrific performances 👏
Amazing lost scene!
Michael Madsen so underrated .
Susan and Michael had great chemistry 💖
Why why why does Louise leave the money with Thelma?
It seems a stupid decision on Louise's part. I think maybe she didn't want to give Jimmy the chance to take it back.
@tweeglaister4885 Louise, just like Thelma, never saw Pitt coming.....he was dropped off at the last stop so why would they think it be wrong, or a bad idea, otherwise. But when he came around, the theft was in progress. Nothing they could do about it. Period. That's life, too.
Glad they left this scene out.
I can't picture Thelma and Louise any other way.
Brilliant actors and so good script. I want to watch the movie.

When do plan to watch the movie, geeez.
It's free on RUclips minus profanity.
What a mistake leaving all that money w/ thelma. I dont get why louise did not keep it with her. This would have been good to keep in the film. Louise knows that if jimmy really wanted to marry her they wouldnt have played these games for years. She said to Thelma basically he only wants her when he thinks she is slipping away. When he gets her he doesnt want to commit. It's just not a healthy . Thelma & louise both had a catharsis while being on the run. Louise doesnt want to keep doing the back & forth with jimmy. I dont think he is a bad guy just someone who cant make up his mind. I've known guys like this where the chase is better for them than the actual relationship proven by the fact that he had kept that ring for years & never used it .
Jimmy is fine!!
His sister Virginia Madsen was in Candyman and Sideways.
Steve Price Oh wow thats his sister? I love Candyman with Helennnnn
Yes definitely
No fake compromise .
Man getting violent because he doesn't get what he wants from her = bad sign. Glad they cut it out. I liked Jimmy's character as it was in the final cut, edited down to the essence. All we really need to know is that he won't quite commit, he's a handsome guy that most women would settle for, but Louise wanted something different. She loves him but leaves him, and that makes the relationship more poignant.
shut up you wrong
Just watched it tonight. The violent part (knocking over the table) is in the final cut. But the scene was well edited down to its essence. Here it's meandering and repetitive.
The violent bit is in the movie. And you're discounting Louise's current situation which obviously is going to affect her decision making. It's about a lot more than wanting to settle or not at this point in the film.
How come everything I've done in life is wrong? Great line, eloquently spoken
Great comment
A sequel with Thelma and Louise in Prison would have been Great ! A Shaw Shank Redemption type with Thelma and Louise !!!!
Or a sequel as them ghosts in Grand Canyon.
I read this comment, and the Blues Brothers "Jailhouse Rock" scene was the first thing that popped into my head.
No sabía que había escenas cortadas
I find that both woman envelope a woman. Sometimes women can be sharp as a knife, and sometimes women can drop their guards and be themselves, like when you smoke a dooby and thinking is an option. BUT when you drop you guard, you gotta be ready for what you have to pick up.
This should have been left in
