Thank you so much for sharing this video! This is such an incredible touching performance, especially with the symbolism behind the torches. I watched this live from above with the sheep and the puffins on the Herjólfsdalur brekkunni. I’ve been in the Þjóðhátíð torch bearers brigade every year since 2017, and this song is engrained in my heart forever. I was moved to tears when they lit the 2 torches - one for every year the festival didn't happen, due to Covid.
