And it’s a tough, tough course. Greens are beautiful but hard as fuck to read.
Which also speaks to how hard championship courses are. Players have multiple practice rounds and tournament rounds while having a professional caddie and would kill for a 66

Fully aware how the handicap system works but the "2 HCP" is absurd. It's a four man scramble, and they are taking less than 1 in 4 of his shots despite being the "best" golfer of the group. You'd think somewhere between 30-50% would be a fair expectation.
Yeah Riggs is definitely not a 2 handicap. Maybe a 15 and that’s being generous. He definitely shouldn’t be going last in the group. They took maybe like a handful of his shots.
@@jacob_crump he's better than 15. I'd put him at a 5. He definitely has sub-76 rounds in him. If you watch the barstool classic when him and Kisner played, i think he shot just a few strokes over par on his own ball.

Playing a scramble is way different than playing by yourself. Like seriously he has the best short game/ iron play of the group, and hits decent drives, just not that far. Compared to lurch and frankie. Totally believe he is a 2 handicap hands down. He hits last for the group for a reason. If everyone else is fucked he seems to clutch it most of the time. I think he was secretly taking the whole thing pretty seriously. You could see it on his face when they started to run away with it. He was genuinely pissed. That competitive nature is why people like him play the game for a living. Not surprised at all he did what he had to do to win. This was awesome to watch.

I watched Trent seeing his parents live on Instagram, seeing it again was so wholesome and captured so well (was expected some dramatic music haha) How good that he kept sinking putts and throwing darts.
