It's not an everdrive that someone relabeled. It's a Chinese bootleg. They copied the everdrive and produced their own, hence the cheap price. That being said, they work well for being cheap, Chinese copies.

You bought a multi-game cart and you worry about the "naughtiness" of a "company" that makes it? Unless you have the entire genesis/megadrive library hidden somewhere I wouldn't go casting stones.

Some Sega Mega Drive games were not software locked. I had Splatterhouse III import, just had to cut off the sides of the cartridge to fit it in the Genesis. So surely there were others.

Does it have 32x games and do you need the 32x add on to play them edit; same question but sega cd as well

If this cart did have 32x or Sega CD games you would need the attachments for the games to run, the Sega genesis can't run 32x or Sega CD games on its own

I used to use rombay but they went under then I used Cool Roms and now my computer says the game contains a virus..ok thanks

To use the game genie code, first you load up the game until it gives you the lockout screen, then you turn off your genesis and turn it back on (don't press reset), then go to cheats, select "enter gg codes" then on the gg codes list screen, select the first blank, press a, put in the code, press start, then it'll take you back to the gg codes screen, highlight the code you just entered, press start, wait until it finishes patching the rom, press start again, go back to the main menu and select "play game" and it should work

Oh no! You're not saying the cheap Chinese cartridge is dodgy! Who'd have thought?
Let's get over ourselves. Krikzz are making a legally dubious product to begin with. The Everdrive facilitates copyright abuse - we all know that and that's precisely what every person who buys an Everdrive buys it for. So can we knock off the holier than thou attitude please?
It works. You can play pretty much every MD/Genesis/MS game on the cheap knock-off and they play as originally intended.
No-one buying this budget version will care that they have to wait a little longer for games to load. It's not like waiting 10/20 minutes back in the day for a Commodore 64 game to load (which half the time would fail to load properly). The games aren't loading ridiculously slowly, they're just loading a little slower than the premium 'official' product.
As if an Everdrive is an official product! 😄
Get off your high horse. The Everdrive is, to borrow your word, a 'naughty' product. And it's way overpriced. So it's hardly a surprise some Chinese company is cloning their technology and undercutting them. People will choose which they go for, the Everdrive's a quality product but very expensive, this is a usable product that does basically the same thing at a much cheaper price.
Let's not pretend there's any moral stance here - Krikzz are making money by facilitating copyright theft (and they must know what they're doing); and this company are stealing Krikzz's intellectual property. They're as bad as each other in my book.

The thing that gets up my goat is when sonic ROM hackers have a whinge about their games being put onto reproduction carts and sold in China saying that it's not fair to the ROM hackers that make these games as they don't get any money out of it, yet they don't have a problem with EverDrives in general. Am I missing something? You're either paying one person for one ROM on a cart where no cent goes to any ROM hacker or you're paying hundreds of dollars to one dude (Krikzz) to play the entire library of games on one cart, it's essentially the same deal. And anyway to be really legal here, ROM hacking Sonic or Streets of Rage games is infringing upon Sega's copyright and SEGA don't get anything out of someone buying an EverDrive or a reproduction cart so the argument put forward by the Sonic hacking community is built on false claims of ownership. If EverDrives are okay by the community, repros are too in my book. You can't be against one and not the other.
By the way I really enjoyed this video.
