This is one of the best WC Swing instructional videos I've seen for beginners. We are beginners and we were taught the whip this week. This is great to practice too. Thanks.
Thanks Sarah! We are really trying to improve the content especially for beginners! We actually did a course on our website that WE LOVE - It's specifically for beginners. "THE ULTIMATE GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS" Take a peek and see what you think! www.westcoastswingonline.com/beginners-guide-offer/ Best wishes! Brian & Megan
I am a beginner as well . These Instructional Videos by Brian and Megan are by far the BEST. In my class the pace is too fast and dance instructor is not very clear on the nuances of the patterns and always in a hurry to move on to the next pattern. I’m also having hard time with the music phrase. Kudos to Brian and Megan. Thank you
John thank you SO MUCH for your kind words. We probably are guilty of teaching too fast too from time to time. I'm really excited you're enjoying our videos. @@WestCoastSwingOnline Brian , how do I deal with phrasing with the music. Salsa on 1 is more evident on the 1 of the music. Sadly looking for the 1 with WCS songs are more challenging

We had a course with a professeionell West Coast teacher. But this explanation is much better and we finally understood the figure correctly. Too bad you guys are in the USA. We would book courses with you immediately.
Thanks for the great instructional videos and the detailed breakdown of this 8 count move for WCS! I dance Latin styles but am just getting started in WCS and your instruction along with the different angles will be very helpful!
thanks! 2 reasons we don't show it to music. #1 music rights. We chose to show our videos with no ads so we don't play music. This keeps us from having our video pulled down due to music issues. #2 the audio quality of showing it to music is pretty time intensive to do right even on our website. We put A LOT of time and effort into our video but there is still a point where the amount of work becomes a bit of an overload. Check out the YT channel. There are lots of helpful videos!
Well done! Clear and easy to learn. Why don't you show it to music at the end?
