Being in the pain of heartache is understandable, but unfortunately it does prevent his contacting you and soothing you. The higher more positive your emotion is, the nearer you are to contacting him or him messaging you as he’s dropped all the EGO vibes of the earth realm - It’s a catch 22.
Talk to him as if you know he can see you and your daughter, and hears you and feel your emotions. One question I have is if it’s so beautiful and everyone is happy on the other side, what lessons do we need to learn here in our lives? I’m 66 and have been in extreme pain since the 2000s.
