I'm guessing atsushi is similar to chuuya in the sense he is not a natural ability user. He is merged with a god like chuuya that's granting him his ability. We've only seen him in his full tiger form twice and eventhough we don't know it's true capabilities we saw a glimmer of it when he first fought akutagawa. Akutagawa wasnt able to hurt it and it easily broke through his space devouring shield thing. The most powerful characters in the series struggle to break it yet his tiger form literally just ran into it and broke it. Not to mention he was also impervious to bullets in that form as well.
In bsd the tiger in Atsushi is called Byakko, in Chinese mythology, Byakko is one of the shijin, or Four Symbols, which are important mythological figures in Taoism. Byakko is the guardian of the west. He is associated with the Chinese element of metal, the season of autumn, the planet Venus, and the colour white. He represents the virtue of righteousness. Maybe this relates to Atsushi, the actual author Atsushi Nakajima was fond of Chinese mythology so maybe this is interpreted into his character. Wouldn't be too far fetched as gods do exist

@@smiler407 The story arc for the hunting dogs is coming to an end. Since season 4 is 12 episodes it will essentially include half of that arc. Maybe it ends at the “big reveal” of the villain although im not sure 12 episodes for season 5 will work perfectly beyond that.
