As you said they already have the environment to speak English ( French if they go to French emersion school-there is one in your new home area, need to register early by the way).

That way, your child will interact with his two form teachers daily in the different languages. YCIS and Catiline International Preschool are two international kindergartens that my son Luke attended. Both schools apply the model of “two writing systems and three spoken languages” (兩文三語）。

We live in US. My son started to have 1:1 French since he was 9. He is fluent in English ( mother tongue ), French and Chinese now.
