  • Momina Khan choreographed and performed the 'Tirvat' taught to her by Bina Jawad. Tirvat was traditionally performed with 'Pakhaavaj', a percussion instrument similar to a tabla.
    This was followed by a melancholic poetry of a 16th Century poet, Madho Lal Hussain's Kaafi ," Maae ni main kinun aakhan." Raga: Bhimpilaasi
    Momina opened the 3rd volume of Sway With Us, a monthly choreographers exhibition organised by The Colony.

    hindu dance becomes indian classical dance , then indian classical dance becomes south asian classical dance , what a shame for hindus , they can't even save their own culture
