Kevin, you crossed my mind this Sabbath. I hope you and your family are well and God is continuing to bless your music ministry you have a God given gift in your voice, I still get very emotional when I think of the last time you sang in our church in Ystrad you sang " I have fixed my mind " hope to see you again soon...... Be blessed Brother 🙏
To God be the glory brother Byron. By God's grace I will be back. You and the Congregation as always been on my mine. Thanks for your continued support.
Thank you for giving us a different, lovely, and meditative melody to associate with Clara H. Scott's prayerful lyric. This is definitely a blessing! I just have one question. Have you ever thought about also translating it from the King James English into something more understandable for modern ears? e.g., "Silently now I wait for You. Ready, my God, your will to do." Granted, not all of it is that easy, but the challenge is worth it, if you think about removing a stumbling block for a previously unchurched person who is seeking God's will. Just a thought. One of my former pastors used to call the King James Version "Good News for 17th Century Man". ;-) Thank you, Kevin Barnes! May the LORD bless you and keep you and establish the work of your hands.
