- Get your sim postpaid. Your prepaid sim will not work in Jammu. You will have to buy a new sim for Jammu which will not work outside Jammu. Airtel works better inside the campus.

Jio also works fine. I have both jio and Airtel. Get it postpaid before coming here.

You can do both things on the same day. Come on Saturday, you will get some time to relax.

I have just started my prep last month .. I can handle QA and DILR. . BUT the issue is with VARC and the worst thing is that it's the most scoring part . Please help me ! How can i make it for VARC.

I studied VARC with Karishma Vanvani ma'am on Unacademy. She always asked us to read books, articles and solve RCs. Basically practice as much as you can on a daily basis. Give mocks!

1) No, you cannot come before your registration dates. You can only come to the campus from 13th July onwards. You can rent a Hotel for your luggage and stay in the city.
2) Don't carry any electric appliances as luggage checking might happen.
3) You can decorate your room but if any damage is caused, the amount will be deducted from your security deposit.

secondly, do everyone have to change there sims to postpaid? like my parents would be coming for 4-5 days, so even they have to change it to postpaid?
Yes Zomato and Swiggy are available. I haven't tried Blinkit or insta Mart but I am pretty much sure that their delivery would also be available. But you won't need them, as a lot of things are available inside the campus shops.
As only postpaid sims work here, so your parents prepaid sim will not be functional here. You can do one thing, take one Jammu sim which will start working in 5-10 mins. And you get your sim postpaid. That Jammu sim will be used whenever your parents come to Jammu to meet you.
PS: Don't buy any sim from the sales guys at the railway station. Go to proper Jio/Airtel store.
