Dell 5520 touchpad button repair

I have a inspiron 1545. I want to check the parts under the button plastics (caps). Do you know if it's buttons may open like in this video. They works but left button always in down position. It's not bouncing up after release. I removed the button assembly and tried to see the mechanism through gaps. It looks like keyboard button mechanism. But need to check the rubber pad. I hope you can help.
