    If you want something as good for half price then here is the AmazonTV FireStick - amzn.to/3I97GLM otherwise let me know what you think about Hubbl below, chat there.

      @RAM_845oh, don’t get your hopes up. It aggregates but uses the apps to play the content. You don’t think Netflix will allow third party access to their content without authentication.

    Foxtel always makes the worst products and love to price gouge.
    I still clearly remember when foxtel came out their selling point was no ads... and there never will be 😂

    The fact the Hubbl Glass is being exclusively sold at Harvey Norman is a complete utter **joke**

    I agree with you can't see the point. I use an Apple TV for my streaming whcih is excellent but avoid the terrestrial services as I hate adds. Instead I also use a Fetch box with hard drive just to record terrestrial shows and play them back after skipping the ads. I assume if you watch live or catch up that you will always get the ads on Hubbl. I love the Apple TV experience but wish you could get all the services to allow you to mark shows as "up next" and the next episode drops into your queue (particularly Netfix). I would be interested if Hubbl allows this type of functionality. The other nice thing about Apple TV is there are now native VPN apps so you can change regions and watch apps from around the world. As a Brit I like to watch a lot of shows from the UK on terrestrial channels like BBC and Channel 4.

    i can't get tv from my room let alone decent reception with the house alone. but i'm considering this for the free view tv. anything else included is just a bonus.

      lol don’t be fooled you literally just told me you can’t get decent reception in your house?
      Buy a tv aerial high quality one maybe will cost you $60 at max then use that 😊

    I'm gonna assume that the hubble tv is one of those OEM "Kogan tv" type things that sell for dirty cheap for under $1K with some custom firmware. Anything over $1K , just get a samsung, panasonic or LG. You can literally buy a 75in for under $900 on Kogan, and thats a lot of very giant TV. Hell I brought my 50in Panasonic for under $1K 15 years ago.

    You need to compare the Hubbl 4K streaming box against other set top boxes with streaming capabilities. Panasonic PVR, Laser, Foxtel Now box, Telstra TV by Roku, Fetch TV Mini & Mighty. The Hubbl looks like a winner to me as it's tiny. If you don't need the terrestrial antenna connection well obviously Google Chromecast with Google TV standard or 4K, Amazon Firestick range, Apple TV and NVIDIA Shield range would be the competitors and Im sure Google is winning with sales of those devices

    • @TechManPat
      @TechManPat  9 месяцев назад

    BigW 65" $699 with WebOS/Google or Andriod OS. I paid $900 for a 75" from them myself. If HUBBL is an APP I might look at it for SAVING of the growing streaming bill but 5 services for $15 saving isnt as much as sharing the cost across family and friends! Also, naming an app Hubbl on google apps isnt possible as its a social media app!

    Pat, can't we sign up and just give a whole lot of bullshit bogus information some they run themselves raggard, can't we run the tv through a VPN so they think we are in the States? the tele hasn't got a forward facing camera for zoom,skype, WhatsApp nothing!..pft.. they must think we where born yesterday. Thanks for the 'Heads Up' mate. 👀👍.
