Nice! Also, I have a large second monitor. Is there a way that i can designate the full screen of that second monitor as the "record" side of the Composer window?
Yes, more or less. I don't *think* (could be wrong) you can actually do a permanent FULL-full-screen layout the same way it goes when you actually select "full screen playback." (I mean, you can do this with external hardware feeding a separate monitor as a video signal rather than as an extended desktop, but I don't think you can do it just with a two-screen desktop). However you CAN make the record side of the composer take up basically a whole monitor, so it's almost full-screen except for whatever info/buttons you have displayed at the top and bottom. Just rearrange all your stuff so it's only the Composer on that second monitor, and as you change the proportions narrow enough the "Source" side will disappear and it'll be a single Record window. If you do that, I'd suggest also in your Bin settings you might want to set "Double-click loads object in" to "New Pop-Up Monitor," which will leave the second window always as Record (instead of it becoming "Source" when you load a new clip - I haven't actually tried this setup in a long time but as I recall that's what happens)
