I love how old fashioned this city still is, no big billboards everywhere, no McDonalds or Starbucks stores in every corner, no big tourist buses down every street… I really wish I have the privilege of going there one day
All this architecture is from when Cuba was either capitalistic or Spaniard.

I want nice Cuban architecture, could be traditional and/or inspired by it; just not the ruinous functional socialist buildings or the slums which are the only architecture Cuba produces today.
@@proveritate1205 Cuba is crippled by American embargos and lack of resources. On top of that if you venture outside the tourist area in most American cities all you'll find is crime ridden slums..... Cuba is probably cleaner and safer tbh

Havana is filled with so many old historical buildings which looked so nice. Beach is charming. There are many trees for this the city is probably pollution free. Thank you. Love from India.
Stunning. I am Cuban American from NYC and I have been going to Havana since 1981. Have not been since 2012 but I have seen all the restoration that was being generated far into many corners of the nearly ruined capital. Seeing Havana's magnificent restoration is the realization of a dream as a Cuban American, architecture/photography freak. NICE WORK !!!

My parents arrived here from Cuba in 1968 in a swiss plane. I was only 2 1/2 years old. After that, I never been to Cuba, but my mom has. From seeing videos of Cuba in the 1950, compared to now, it seems ugly to me now. I wish it can look prettier, like London's west end.

You've got to hand it to the Spaniards for living up to their reputation as 'the greatest builders since the Romans.' Honestly, no other European empire ever left such a cosmopolitan architectural legacy around the globe. The views of Old Havana would fit in perfectly within any Mediterranean port city. Congrats to the Cubans for preserving this historic visual feast for future generations. That shot at @2:26 is so Old World Spanish.

El primero representa lo majestuoso de la creacion y el logro de un pueblo que ya conquisto su cima sin ser esta su ambicion final. El segundo algo que solo representa lo impredesible y descabellado de quien nos empuja hacia un precipicio con la sola idea de cersenar mentes que almacenan visiones capaces de impresionar a todo el mundo las cuales nunca necesitaron ser acesoradas por algunos que dicen llamarse faros, aun cuando la luz solar siempre nos sobro alumbrandonos a raudales.
Entonces porque no precindir de su luz toda esa del tipo que nos agota y nos ciega, si en realidad nunca fue necesaria ni tampoco se la pedimos?

Amazing Video and what an even more amazing city. This will definitely go onto my list of places to visit. The architecture is incredible but what stuck out in my mind were the cars. All so old but yet still so relevant and stylish. The video is a masterpiece.

What a beautiful video, I didn't know Havana had all this, and that peacock is amazing!
Had one of the greatest 2 weeks of my life there back in the mid 1980's when the Soviet Union was still had a major presence and one of few ways of getting there was by Aeroflot flight on its way from Moscow to Havana full of army personnel . Amazing place, wonderful people, unique experience !

Thank you so much for these vids...I'm a travel agent and I periodically send my clients emails while we countdown to their trips...I have quite a few clients cruising to Cuba early next year and I shared your video in one of my emails to them. They loved it. Made them more excited to see Havana.
